Sony D-EJ017CK CD Walkman with Car Accessories
The Sony D-EJ017CK CD Walkman with Car Accessories is specifically designed for use in your car. The included car kit provides all the accessories you'll need to connect the CD Walkman to your car stereo system. That doesn't mean you can't take the Walkman with you when you get to where you're going though; the D-EJ017CK also comes with a pair of clip style headphones and can by powered by 2 optional 'AA' batteries.
The CD Walkman plays back CD-R/RW discs. G-Protection helps provide fast recovery from both horizontal and vertical shocks while Sony's Digital Mega Bass Sound helps provide deep, rich audio and low harmonic distortion. The Walkman also features 8 different playback modes to customize your listening experience and bookmark programming for listening to a personalized mix of music from any compatible CD. In addition to all these features the Automatic Volume Limiter System keeps volume output steady for clean and surprise-free audio.

I couldn't get the cd to play at first, and had to reset the cd player before I could use it the first time. Otherwise, it has been working great and has great sound quality. The car kit was included, which was a bonus.

I use this in the car listening to audio cds. My car cd player is broken and I have a 50 minute commute each day ONE WAY. This device is invaluable. One disappointment - I can not get it to play through the cigarette lighter charger. I must run it on batteries. Also have trouble keeping those little ear buds wrapped around my ear!
Other than that, sound is great, and...it's completely portable.

This portable CD player was purchased to replace a Panasonic model that lived a long and useful life but stopped doing so. This CD Walkman does more than we need it to, since it's strictly used by my wife to listen to audio books checked out of the library while she gardens. It actually fits in her pocket and she's been very happy with it. We didn't need the car accessories but the price and reviews made this the player of choice and we haven't been disappointed with it. She even likes the headphones. We use rechargeable batteries in it and they seem to last a long time before needing recharging.
