I ordered 5 BXRi heads and 2 of them came with bad flashtubes. I sent them to Manfrotto for replacement, but they were out of stock. So, I ordered 2 replacements from B & H. Neither worked. B & H promptly sent me 2 more, and they worked perfectly. Out of 9 flashtubes, only 5 were good. Be sure to check these tubes upon receipt.

Product does not have too much instructions to go by. There are 2 poles with a positive sign on one. Problem is which hole does it go in the strobe housing when the + sign in the housing is buried & hard to see. Before you take out the old one,pay attention how you remove it. Also, it has a black burnt spot that makes it look like a defect but is actually part of the manufacturing. bought it as a back up

Got this to put in my bag for backup. Don't want to be with a client on a shoot and have a tube go out and not be able to finish the shoot.
