The Klipsch WS-24E Surround Speaker (Espresso), of the Icon W series, provides a sophisticated way to fully experience the special effects in your favorite movie and music soundtracks. Its compact design means it integrates seamlessly into any modern home theater system, lending an understated elegance to your space.
The WS-24E features dual 1" titanium tweeters along with an 80° x 80° Tractrix horn to deliver a wide, balanced soundstage. For lower frequencies, two 4.5" fiberglass cone woofers provide powerful bass. The proprietary XT Tractrix Horn technology expands upon the traditional wide dispersion horns by adding graceful bumps to the horn itself for a slower flare, creating an even more consistent dispersion.
In addition to delivering quality audio, the WS-24E features a stunning physical presence. Its beautiful Espresso wood veneer finish combines with its lightweight frame to accent any decor and give you an array of placement options.
Wide Dispersion Surround technology (WDST) provides a high dispersion pattern for sonic detail and optimum performance within any configuration.
Tractrix Horn Technology
A wide dispersion Tractrix horn-loaded tweeter implements XT technology, allowing sound to flow in a smooth, enveloping 80° by 80° pattern. Continuing the tradition of previous Klipsch horn-loaded technology, this version is ultra-efficient, producing a higher output with less energy and giving signature quality sound.
With a frequency response of 82Hz-23kHz (+/-3dB), this surround channel speaker reproduces a full sound range from to deep bass to ultra-high frequencies.
Audio is delivered through a stunning Berlinia wood veneer cabinet from West Africa. Klipsch ensures quality in all of the details, including the finish. After sanding of the cabinet, the stain is top coated with 10 coats of polyurethane finish. The surface is sanded in between coats to afford the perfect thickness.
Featuring a small footprint, the WS-24E weighs just over 10 pounds. It can be placed above seated ear height on side or rear walls, about 4-5' above the floor. The attached keyhole wall brackets hook to appropriately sized screw heads, which screw into a wall stud and single or dual wall anchors for flexible placement options.
