Comments about LaCie 250GB Little Disk USB 2.0 Portable Hard Drive (Black):
I have a 500gb Lacie Littledisk. It gets ridiculously hot to the point I'm afraid it's going to melt, it's loud and you can feel/hear the drive spinning, The usb connector is easily worn from being pulled in and out, and it's starting to fail being mounted except through the disk utility. Maybe I just have a dud drive, but I hate it and would not recommend it to anyone. A fairly logical turn off should be the already connected usb cable. It's going to get beaten up from daily use very very quickly and will stop working. Instead of just switching to a new cable, you'd have to send it in for a replacement.
