I've been using this camera for a month before writing this review. The best part are the images, since the lenses and resolution are great. I was a litle bit concerned it is not a Nikon or Canon (well known brands for cameras...) but today, cameras = good technology + good lenses. This summarizes what I found. Samsung is a good tech company and Schneider a good lenses industry so their combination became perfect. The only issue is the battery life. What i did? Bought a spare battery and an external charger. So, I was ever with power for a day taking photos and videos (by the way 1080 HD is amazing)...

Fun to use - and you get attention with the second lcd-screen in front of you. Even fun to take pictures of your self with friends. The back lcd screen is nice and bright.
But: I wish there was more wide angle - but this is a common problem with most of the tiny pocket cameras. And I am disappointed about the image quality indoor, and especially while low light. The screen interaction with menus and settings ain't that good either. Wish there was some better, logical menues with easier adjustments while shooting. Batteries only last approx 100-110 pictures in one evening party-use (include looking at pictures).
For fun - this camera is recommended. But if you need nice pictures I would considered other cameras.

I love this camera!
I got this to replace my 5 Megas Pixels Casio, and I absolutely love it! It takes great photos, and the front screen is sooo worth it! It makes it very easy to take pictures of yourself, and i was impressed with the clarity.
I also took some video of fast paced footage, eg drag racing and it turned out great! Clear and not laggy.
I do find that the battery life is a little low, but that is to be expected with a touch screen, so if you are an avid user, then you would probably want a spare battery. But that doesn't seem to be a big deal to me. You will also get a lot of fingerprints on the front of the camera, which is kind of annoying, but still not a big problem.
Overall, I recommend this camera!

I use this product for almost everything! Its great to use with friends and with business. I use it when I want to capture a moment with family, or when moving into a new apartment and want to catch the very fine detail of things. I love that it has amazing quality that seems so real. I also love that it's a touch screen, extremely up to date with technology as well as easy to comprehend. The only thing I don't like about it is, it doesn't have sport shot and when you use the dual side the flash isn't automatically included unless you unlock the main screen. Other than that I love this camera! I would highly recommend it to everyone.

Casual spare camera ,first impresion not so good, all auto , very slow ,good video quqlity,etc...Let's say we can deal with this but pay attention the lens is "protected"by a plastic or glass screen wich collect dust and debree that is impossible to clean. When I call samsung they said this is not covered by warranty. This camera was a replacement for a KODAK Z1285 , Big mistake! Do not waste your money just for the front display and touch screen !

I purchased this Samsung point and shoot as a graduation gift for a girl heading off to college. The additional front viewing screen was the selling feature. She is very pleased with the photo quality compared to her old camera. Great little camera to document all the fun times ahead in college.
For casual photography and the convenience of size, it fills the need well.

This camera was bought with the intent to use when going out, on vacation or in any situation where we would not want carrying it to be an extra burden. Buy a cheap case/pouch to go with it and throw it in a pocket or purse; it will take up about as much room as an IPhone - or droid ;). Has good auto settings and picture/video quality. Picture and video settings can be reduced in order to hold more pictures or take longer video clips. This will not replace a camcorder, (~11 min of video on the lowest settings down to 30 seconds of HD video) but it works well enough for short clips. The touch screens have good sensitivity and look slick. The overall navigation is good once a little time has been put into browsing the main button functions.

got this camera for my g/f for christmas, i was kind of unsure about it because of the touch screen. if your not use to touch screen it can take a little getting used to but after you do its awesome! the camera takes really nice pictures and has good zoom. make sure you put the picture quality on super fine because they arent that great on normal. the camera is very durable and i am very pleased, it has a tone of cool features to mess around with too. and the outside screen is really usefull for kids and close range picture taking. oh yeah and it takes 720p videos you just need to buy the hdmi cable to hook it to a tv or whatever.

Comments about Samsung DualView TL225 Digital Camera (Orange):
The TL225 is small and fast. The start-up time is less than a second and the flash regeneration is less than 4 seconds. Focus lock is quick and I have not "missed a shot" because the camera wasn't ready.
However, the motion sensor that changes pictures during playback makes it hard to pass the camera around to friends without changing the selected photo.
