The Eee Box HD from ASUS is a compact desktop computer. The small computer is the epitome of elegance, boasting pleasing aesthetics and extremely quiet operation. The system features an HDMI output for HDTV connectivity, and a dedicated hardware decoder for HD video, making it a great choice for use as part of a home theater system. Its full-featured media player and wireless keyboard and mouse make it an ideal platform for delivering digital and Internet video to your living room.
The Eee Box manages to balance performance, size, and power consumption. While its Atom CPU may not be the fastest in the world, it generates less heat and consumes less power than high-end desktop CPUs. This allows the Eee Box to be small and quiet, while still providing enough processing horsepower to run multimedia, home, office, and Internet applications.
The system is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU, and boasts 1GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive capacity, 802.11n Wi-Fi, and ATI Radeon HD 4530 graphics. The computer's operating system is Windows XP Home. It uses up to 90% less energy than typical desktop computers, and generates only 26dB of sound when in use.

A handy little machine for light computing. Great to connect to your main HDTV for applications like Itunes video, Hulu and YouTube. Could process faster but the graphics card performs very well with the Windows XP platform.
