Comments about Promotion & Display Technology Minoru 3D Webcam:
This 3D webcam does red/cyan anaglyph 3D, side-by-side, picture-in-picture and 2D.
And it DOES work on Skype! :)
I'm into 3D and have a homemade 2 camcorder rig, I got the Minoru for quick, convenient YouTube video posting.
With the right lighting the Minoru output looks fantastic and can be edited in your favorite video editing software.
Be sure to choose AVI as your output because the ASF comes out with bad color and hotspots all over the video!
The built-in mic is not bad but to reduce room noise you can choose to record audio from a mic plugged into your PC if you have one.
Does have a small amount of color/white balance difference from one "eye" to the other, but not bad enough to hinder you from making a good quality 3D video for posting online!

Comments about Promotion & Display Technology Minoru 3D Webcam:
The device is a 3D camera that allows for anaglyph, side-by-side and other mode.
Great for 3D webcam chat and stereo photography!
Has great updated new driver that has anaglyph separation profiles.
Can be used as two webcams if you so choose(has a buil-in USB hub).
Worked fine in all software for me except Flash.

This camera is NOT skype supported, which was the very purpose of getting it :(... Would like to return it for refund if possible.

Comments about Promotion & Display Technology Minoru 3D Webcam:
If you buy this to do 3d read-blue-type video recording, it might be a good product. Keep in mind thought that the left and right cameras work completely independently and aren't calibrated too well, so the two images will have different white balance.
If however you want to use it (like I did) for machine vision applications, this isn't your product. The two cameras aren't syncronized, aren't alligned and can't really be aligned either. They get out of alignment constantly due the to way the product (seems to be) put together. The field of view is also very narrow that really was a showstopper for me.
All that said, it was easy to set up and it did work in its limited way. Win7 has built-in drivers for it, though if you want to get blue-red style video output from it, you'll have to use their software.

My company has weekly internet music DJ broadcasts, and now we have an added value to our shows. Now viewers can see the dj booth in 3D, which no other broadcasts on [@] can offer. It does sometimes mess up in setup, but is easy to set up!
