The Plus C-12W CaptureBoard is a digital whiteboard with the ability to capture notes shown on the screen for printing. With the ability to both print and save to a single file on a computer makes the unit especially useful for engaging students and colleagues in a variety of instructional applications, including class rooms and business meetings. The C-12W was designed from the ground up for ease-of-use, making it a pleasure to setup and intuitive to operate.
- Durable Screen Surface
- The screen surface offers improved erasability while maintaining its performance as a matte screen for picture-perfect projections.
- Support for JPG and PDF Images
- Both JPEG and PDF formats have been added to the previously supported PNG format. Now users have more options for the easy handling of image files for the purpose of printing, saving to a USB memory stick and saving to a PC.
- Integrated Software
- All of the settings and operations of the board can be easily accessed when using a connected PC. Simple "Plug & Play" recognition of the board means that the PLUS TOOLBOX menu automatically pops up on the PC screen when the PC and board are connected via a USB cable.
- Effective Security
- Many security features have been added in response to those customers who expressed a desire to keep proprietary information from being accessed when the board is used in a common room or shared space. The new security features consist of password lock, block access setting, USB key disable, along with both a printer disable and erase reminder.
- Enhanced Design
- The physical design of the C-12W has been updated to better suit the look of the modern office. Off-white has been used for the color scheme to achieve a softer appearance. They have also been designed to maintain a clean and organized appearance. The AC adapter can be concealed in a box underneath the printer tray and unsightly cables can be hidden in the cable covers.
- User-Level Firmware Updating
- Previously a firmware update needed to be installed by a service person. The update procedure for the 12 Series has be greatly improved, allowing the firmware to be updated by the user by obtaining a file from the PLUS website. This has cut the time and cost of updating the board
