Telestream EG-PL-SC UK Pipeline Single CH SDI Network Video Capture & Playout (for UK Only)

The Telestream EG-PL-SC UK Pipeline Single-Channel SDI network encoder device can be used to create SDI ingests into Telestream's FlipFactory and Episode applications. You can also use it with other third-party products such as Apple's Final Cut Pro, etc. This encoder can be made accessible to multiple users over a network and as such provides a more reliable and cost-effective alternative to traditional PC capture card solutions.

The Pipeline Single-Channel SDI network encoder enables real-time, frame-accurate video capturing and encoding to multiple formats, including DV25/50, IMX 30/40/50, and MPEG-2 I-frame (PAL & NTSC). File transfer begins during ingestion from the tape; this facilitates fast throughput and accelerates your workflows.

Shared network access and RS-422 deck control enable multi-user access to the tape deck. This Pipeline network encoder is software configurable to provide the output in the format as desired by you. Network-upgradeability enables easy addition of new features and formats, including H.264 and Windows Media, as and when these become available from Telestream.

The Pipeline Single-Channel SDI network encoder can be used to batch ingest from an EDL file; this allows you to encode multiple clips from a single tape and also streamlines the digitization of tape for ingest into online libraries, archives, and digital asset management workflows.

Further, this Pipeline network encoder is bi-directional, and can also be used to print clips to tape for sharing with clients and colleagues. Easy integration with third-party products and destination applications is facilitated by a Software Development Kit (SDK).
