The market for what once was called large venue projectors is rapidly changing as the technology evolves. More specifically, a projector that could once put out at least 5,000 ANSI lumens onto a screen of 100 inches was considered large venue. Today there are many other features that would have to be factored in to be labeled "large venue." Barco's XLM HD30 Projector is a 3-chip DLP projector that is not only considered a large venue projector but is also a modern masterpiece of projector technology. With a native widescreen of 2048 x 1080, 16:9 aspect ratio and ultra bright wide-screen projection, the HD30 will deliver crisp, clear video and data content in the most demanding environments.
Now modern large venue projectors also needs to be equipped with sophisticated networking capabilities, interchangeable lenses, redundant lamps and power supplies, flexible remote controls, and as many different inputs as possible. Barco's XLM HD30 Projector includes a fully sealed DMD engine and adjustable convergence system, the XLM HD30 projector is purpose built to work around the clock, making it ideal for use in the demanding rental and staging and large events markets.
