Comments about Ikelite Pop Bead Flex Arm Assembly:
I'm rating this 4 stars, although we have some positives and negatives. First, I've always used the soild rod ikelite system for my strobe, because that's what came with it. That worked OK, but lacked the mobility/versatility for underwater use. I switched to this for that reason - freedom of movement. I've already reviewed the arm's extension - the positives are the movement capability, ease of use, and the fact that it fits quickly and easily into an ikelite setup. The cons are that your strobe might be a little heavy, depending on how many beads you use, and I think that this, being all plastic, would be easy to crack if you set or dropped something heavy on it. Otherwise, you may need a little muscle to pop the beads together and pull them apart.

Comments about Ikelite Pop Bead Flex Arm Assembly:
I use this flex arm to hold a Substrobe that Triggers remote lights for underwater people photography. It works well enough for my purposes and was inexpensive to purchase. It has great flexibility and ease of positioning, but I found that it flopped around a little bit to easily if I moved around much.

Comments about Ikelite Pop Bead Flex Arm Assembly:
I use 2 of these arms with my Canon 5D MkII and Ikelite housing instead of the standard metal arms for the Ikelite DS-51. They provide more flexibility and are faster to adjust and easier to transport. In my opinion they are a bit short and I would also purchase the 4 bead extension (IK9350.44).
