Comments about Casio Privia PX-130 88-Key Portable Digital Piano:
This was my first purchase of a high-end keyboard/piano. The impetus from my aspiring pianist was that the plastic keyboard that we had been using wasn't the same size that he had during his lessons, and the keys didn't sound or feel right.
With the Casio, they keys really stand out, and I'd be hard pressed to tell the difference between them and a real piano if I wasn't looking at them. Needless to say, it was a win from the start. Later, he had the headphones on yelling 'Daddy, can you hear the music.' Yeah, 'nuff said, it's a winner.

Comments about Casio Privia PX-130 88-Key Portable Digital Piano:
Since purchasing this keyboard I've completely fallen in love with it. I was looking for a portable keyboard that could emulate the sound & feel of a piano- and this does so beautifully. I bought the wooden stand and full 3 pedals and can also easily see it unscrewing it from the stand and using it elsewhere for music making.
No complaints, it's a beautiful instrument and the added features are a nice complement: being able to play with headphones at 5am and not wake anyone up, playing along with recordings to get my chops up, etc. I don't love the built metronome, it's annoying to adjust to the right tempo and it has a dumb bell, but I picked up batteries for my old reliable metronome.
I use this keyboard more for its piano-like qualities than its digital features, and it is awesome.

Love this keyboard!! It's sleek and produces a beautiful sound. B&H was prompt with the delivery. After checking prices for this keyboard, B&H had the best deal for they included the stand, foot pedals, headphones, seat, and carrying case all for the price that some charged for just the keyboard. I am a Classical musician. Singing opera is my specialty, but I love playing the piano for enjoyment. This is perfect.

I like the sound of the piano and how it feels to play it. The only problem is the lowest notes sound pretty bad.

Comments about Casio Privia PX-130 88-Key Portable Digital Piano:
This is one awesome electronic piano. The key weight and response is perfect--I'm not a professional pianist, but I cannot tell the difference between this and a real grand. The sound is great as well. The internal speakers are more than adequate for practice sessions, and dare I say small performances. It comes with a single dampener pedal, but I opted to get the 3-pedal accessory as well as the stand. It took me about 20 minutes to assemble it all (the piano's obviously plug-n-play, but the "furniture" requires some assembly), and then I was playing through the included book of scores from Chopin and Bach, to name only a few.It has more features than I've began to play with. But, I wasn't in the market for a 5,000-tone synthesizer, I wanted a nice portable e-piano. Ultimately, that's exactly what the PX-180 is.[...]

I wasn't sure if I liked my keyboard when I got it. However, once I got the hang of all the features and played it more than once I decided I LOVED it! Definitely worth the price!

Comments about Casio Privia PX-130 88-Key Portable Digital Piano:
I once owned a piano and I also play guitar and drums. I am pretty picky when it comes to sound and feel of musical instruments. I was looking to get a piano sound and feel without the size, weight and expense or a full-size piano. This purchase was for me to play and my kids to learn on. I purchased based on reviews alone and I was not dissapointed. You can immediately just start playing and you won't find yourself obsessing about how it does not feel like a real piano, because it does infact feel and sound very much like a real piano. If you add to that the fact that you have many other sound options, split keyboard options for teaching students, volume control, and headphone jacks for when the kids are learning!!!... It's a great piece of equipment.I have not compared this to other models to tell you if this is the absolute best deal for the money, but I am very happy with this unit for what I paid at bhphotovideo.com [...]. I highly recommend this instrument!

Piano is wonderful to play and listen and is definitely a step up from a keyboard. Product arrived with a manufacturing defect as middle C makes an audible clunking noise when the key is depressed but otherwise overall quality was good.

I use this product to improve my skills, and it allows me to do so very well. The only problem is that some of the keys emit a springy noise when I push them at a high volume, and the piano is to heavy to bother exchanging it.

Comments about Casio Privia PX-130 88-Key Portable Digital Piano:
Purchased this for our daughter who is a piano major. She loves the portability and overall quality of the piano. The feel is authentic to what she is use to on actual pianos, feels there is just enough electronics (as she is more classical than jazz based). We did get the bundled package with the better pedal which is necessary as the one supplied is cheap. Overall, great value if you do not want to spend well over 1k.

Comments about Casio Privia PX-130 88-Key Portable Digital Piano:
Bought this to learn to play the piano. After some research this looks like the best deal for an 88 Key Digital Piano with weighted keys and the ability to connect to a computer directly via USB. Sound from the speakers is good enough for practice. No setup required to connect to a mac via USB. I bought the stand (cs-67), looks nice with the keyboard.

Comments about Casio Privia PX-130 88-Key Portable Digital Piano:
I have owned and used this keyboard for about six months. I play it every Sunday for worship service and for practice every Thursday. I bought it after my Yamaha P-85 quit from a power failure. I chose the Privia after playing it side by side with a P-90 in the store. The action, the price, and the sound were all considerations. I don't need a lot of onboard sounds since I use VST on a notebook computer, so the weighted action keys are a real plus for me over using a straight midi keyboard. I would definitely buy another PX-130 if this were lost or stolen.

Comments about Casio Privia PX-130 88-Key Portable Digital Piano:
Very nice all the way around. I bought these strictly on reviews I read and I could not have been happier, especially at the price range of this piano. The weighted keys have a very natural feel to them. It is loud enough to fill a room, but not super loud, so go check one out if this a show stopper for you. Otherwise, I feel this piano is easily worth the suggested retail.

Bought this to spoil me, and have fun with, so far I am not disappointed. Plays, and sounds well. [...] I still can't understand why Casio didn't include a USB cable at this price of a piano, but that's ok they received their poor rating due to that dilemna, and all for a $5.00 cable.
