Comments about Archos 2 Vision MP3 Player (Red):
Misleading documentation. When you put songs on a micro-SD card and insert it, they are not included in the device's library. You have to navigate to them via the device's file browser and play them by file name. This is a real problem when you have songs by the same artist both internally and externally. To make things worse, the device does not properly alphabetize files from the micro-SD, so mine shows F thru Z, then A thru E. This device has major software design flaws, and the Archos help desk just shrugged them off like they were my fault.

Comments about Archos 2 Vision MP3 Player (Red):
Got this yesterday, have been nothing but annoyed with it.
- UI scrolling is controlled by sliding your finger across the device - once per "down arrow" - and it doesn't recognize about 2/3 of my swipes.
- The player doesn't recognize the valid MP3/WMA tags of about 30 of my songs, and I can't figure out why.
- Most importantly, while this device accepts micro SD cards, the media you put on these cards IS TREATED AS A SEPARATE STORAGE AREA. In other words, you can load this up with 16 GB of songs, but only the 8 GB on the internal storage shows up when you're scrolling thru artists/albums in its library. Anything on the SD card has to be accessed thru its file system instead.
This last point is a terrible design bug, and is not mentioned anywhere in the literature or FAQ. I had to ask Archos because I thought the device was broken, but that is evidently standard behavior. I would not have purchased this item had I known.
