Epson Hot Press Bright Smooth Matte Paper - 13 x 19" - 25 Sheets
Epson Hot Press Bright Smooth Matte Paper is an acid free, 100% cotton rag media with a bright textured finish. This paper has an extremely-high color gamut and black density. This cylinder mould-made product is optimized for Epson UltraChrome, and Archival Ink.
This fine art paper is not only acid, lignin, and chlorine free, it is also pH buffered with calcium carbonate for a true archival sheet.

I print using the Epson R3000 printer. I thought that my previous matte paper was good but this Hot Press Bright Smooth Matte is the best that I've seen. Razor sharp, great colors, matches what I see on my monitor, and the colors are vibrant without being over saturated. It also gives me the deepest blacks on my black & white photos.

I'm a fine art photographer. Used this paper to print one of my artworks for a show and I could not be more pleased. The print really pops - looks 3D actually. This paper has nice weight and a wonderful nice matte finish. I've read about the "brightener" debate - I'm putting my trust in Epson on that one.

I print with an Epson R2880 and I love how this paper takes the ink. The paper is thick, weighty, substantial--like watercolor paper, but with a smooth surface. It can be a bit fussy to load, but well worth the effort. I use this also in the 8.5 x 11 size and wish it came in more sizes.

This is a great paper. I use this with a epson 2400 and a colormunki. The prints are very vivid. I have two prints on the wall and all who stop by are in love with them. This is my new favorite paper.

I'm not going to get into the optical brighteners versus no optical brighteners debate. That is a subjective minefield. On my long and expensive quest to find a fine art matte paper so my photos don't reflect my face back at me and has, almost, the DMax, clarity, sharpness and "presence"(my description) of one of the new Barytas, this may not be the Holy Grail, but it certainly puts you in the chapel and close to the altar. Of course printing on an Epson 7900 with the new HDR inks helps, but I'm sure it will do just fine on my trusty R2400 too. This is a very nice paper. I ordered a gob.
