I have two of the VW2666H monitors side-by-side. I prefer the 16:10 format for computer use since it has more workroom than a 1920x1080. Both of the VW266H's were Out-of-the-Box set at high temp bluish screen which is correctable via the onscreen menus, which was slightly annoying but the typical monitor needs a bit of tweaking in any case. I'm very happy with both; text is legible, colors are OK, and neither had any dead pixels. If you prefer a 16:10 screen I'd pick one up soon as it seems to be a format the mfrs. are dropping out of production.

Purchased this same model roughly two years back worked great but it started have problems turning on. Couldn't find a better/bigger monitor with the same features for a decent price. What really sold me on this monitor *again* was the 1920x1200 res. once you go 1200 you can't go back. I use this monitor for PC gaming, some photo editing, and console gaming and it has proved to be a worthwhile purchase considering the short lifetime of its predecessor. Try and find a monitor with comparable features, quality, and price... You cant.

This is mostly used in an engineering environments. Great resolution. So far, no complaints.

I use this monitor at home. I really didn't need a monitor this big but the price was right and the specs put it as a very nice monitor.
The monitor is big and displays a beautiful picture.
Have not observed any missing pixels and only had to plug the thing in and was up and running.
Cons: Only tilt adjustment, can live with that.
making some of the adjustment was confusing, but figured it out after playing with it for a little bit.
I would highly recommend this monitor.

I use this hooked up to my Mac Powerbook laptop. I bought this as a inexpensive solution to a temporary living condition where I can't take my Mac monitor with me. It fully met my expectations. The main con is that it is hard to calibrate exactly to match the mac display, but I got it fairly close. It also is not quite as bright as I would like. Overall I am very pleased with the performance and capability for the price.

I use this for my desk and we've got 8 in our design build department (2 on each desk) using them for AutoCAD and Revit. It's an excellent monitor and you cannot find a better priced 1920x1200 monitor available. The speakers are also surprisingly good for monitor speakers. If I had to make a complaint, the initial brightness setting is a bit high, but it is easily adjusted to a more comfortable level. My office is fairly dark though, so in a more well lit office it may not even be an issue.

So I use this guy as my main home monitor; Regular work, playing games (Starcraft 2), Hulu, Movies, etc.. The size is definitely the best thing, and the picture is very crisp.
There are two downfalls:
1. The vertical viewing angle is sub-par. even when looking directly at the thing, the top parts seem darker. when you move your head up, they become lighter, and when you move your head down, they become very dark. This is a problem when you want to lie down in bed and watch something from a lower viewing angle.
2. The stand is only satisfactory. It's solid and everything, but you can't raise or lower the monitor, and there's barely any leeway for tilting it up and down, which, if it were an option, would definitely help with problem #1.

I was looking for a monitor with a higher contrast ratio, but the low price of this monitor caused me to buy this instead.

I use this monitor as a playback monitor in Premiere Pro CS5 with the Matrox RT.x2 card. The card requires a 1900 x 1280 resolution monitor. The DVI connection provides excellent quality. Very satisfied.[...]

This is a very nice monitor at a very nice price, I recommend it specially if you have more than one device hooking to it (DVI, Compnent, HDMI or VGA)

I bought this monitor from B&H on the 29th of June[...]I was so excited to get it opened up and try it out. I first plugged my M17x into this monitor via the DVI port on the back. At first I was very happy with the colors and performance of the screen and the screen size of 25.5 inches made it all the better. I have had this monitor now for only 4 days and I have been having a hard time calibrating the monitor to match the colors of my M17x Laptop screen which is made by Samsung. I have had no such luck getting the colors accurate. One of my biggest problems with this ASUS monitor is the noticeable blue tint,over exposed colors (red),and the black levels seem way to black when compared to my M17x Screen. I have to say that I am pleased with everything about this monitor except for some of the color issues. Unfortunately I am very particular about how colors are represented and am very picky. Because of the issued with to much color representation and blue tent I have decided to return this monitor. If your looking for a 25 inch Computer monitor with HDMI, DVI, 1920x1200 Res, and don't mind to much red color and blue tint then this monitor is perfect for you. I must say that B&H is one of the best companies when looking for the best deals and greatest gadgets.

Having this much real estate to work with is great. Changes the way I work, makes me more productive. Picture is great. Resolution is great. Brightness is great.

Downside is it uses more resources on my processor than a smaller monitor. My MacBook Air isn't exactly a huge processing power machine, so I imagine if I had a bit more horsepower I wouldn't notice the difference.

Great overall size for multitasking with multiple windows. Excellent resolution. Very competitive price. Weak speakers, but that does not impact my purpose.

This is the second VW266H 25.5" Widescreen LCD Computer Display we have purchased for our Autocad stations. They work well and look great. Great value for the money. We do wish they had a vertical adjustment mechanism, but we've put them on stands so we don't have to look down at them.

I love how easy it is to switch between multiple inputs. Just a click of a button and can be back and forth between my desktop and my laptop.
