Comments about Epson Cold Press Natural Textured Matte Paper - 13 x 19" - 25 Sheets:
I have not been a fan of matte paper until I tried the Epson Fine Art Papers. I had a sample pack I picked up at a trade show. I printed a test print on the Hot Press Natural paper and loved the results. To be honest, I thought I was buying the Hot Press Natural, so I printed several more test prints on the sample paper of the Cold Press and it's just as nice. The matte papers I've used in the past generally look flat and dull, but the Epson FAPs are very nice with solid black points. I'm very excited to try a few more. It works really well with dreamy, watercolor-y type images. The texture is stronger than the Hot Press product.

Comments about Epson Cold Press Natural Textured Matte Paper - 13 x 19" - 25 Sheets:
I was fortunate that a major research library believed my images that were in an exhibition earlier this year were good enough to be added to its permanent collection. The original prints were on lustre paper. But the institution would only accept cotton fiber. Because B&H had a selection of Epson papers on hand to sample, it was a bit of a challenge with so many offerings. My prints were in Black and White and I wanted a warm feel to them. Hence, picking the Cold Press Natural. My images were printed on a $5,000.00 Epson printer. The results were breathtaking. I could see detail that was absent in the lustre prints. By all means, buy this paper and see the results of your images that you would never see in less quality paper.

I am a professional artist and run off prints of my watercolors and other media as well. When I used Fabriano cold press textured paper with the Epson R1900, the smaller 11x15 prints for a 16x20 format were decent but the 13x19's were a disappointment. I took the advice of an Epson technician who suggested I should try the Epson watercolor paper made especially for the R1900 or R2880 and when this paper arrived, I tried it and the 13x19 print was superb. Eye popping color and very sharp. I could not obtain an ICC printer profile for the Fabriano. The Epson Cold Press Natural Textured Matte Paper ICC printer profile should be downloaded for Adobe, which can be done at an Epson site featuring this paper.
While searching for a good price for this paper on internet, I found that B+H Photo had the best price!
