Product is works great, however does not come with the USB cable needed to connect to your computer. So I wouldn't say it was ready to go right out of the box. If you have pictures on an expansion card (i.e. SD card) Then it's pretty much plug and play with minimal setup. Pictures look good on it and the glossy black finish with the backlit "Sony" moniker is attractive. Great for a gift as well as a home picture frame.

Good Value; but Small Size
Photo upload from SD or Memory Stick is OK. Will
not take Compact Flash cards. Upload from computer must use the Type 2 USB connector.

Only using the internal memory, haven't tried an additional SD card so far. The picture looks good, lots of time options for switching between pictures in slide-show mode. Some photos can look distorted/blurry when stretching to fit the screen.

I bought this for my mother who is 88 years old and she is not very knowlegable regarding new products. It was very easy to use and upload pictures for her. She was able to use the frame and even the remote. The picture was very good and the colors were true.
