I bought this for my husband to put on his desk at work and we both love it. It has tons of features, including the ability to auto-orient when rotated, settings for interval of photo change, a huge internal memory (over 500 high-quality photos), auto on/off to save power when you're not going to be looking at it and a remote control. It has a crisp display and can display an analog clock, digital clock, calendar or combination with the images if you wish. File transfers are easy and require no additional software.
The only down side was that the large number of settings and features took him a while to sift through and find what he liked the most about it. It's not overly complicated to use, though, and the remote makes it much easier. Our only true complaint is that if a picture is loaded in the wrong orientation onto the frame, you can't fix it without deleting the image and adding it again in the correct orientation.
This frame does not play music, which was something we didn't want, but may be a disadvantage for others.

It's a nice gadget, but honestly, I don't use it very often. In fact, since setting it up and loading the images, I've only turned it on once. What's good about it is the ease of use once you've gone through the set-up. The set-up, however, can be a bit fussy, and the nested menus (as well as navigation) are not always intuitive. I got it as a gift and would not have bought one on my own.

I brought this gift for my mother and she loves it. She uses it for a clock and a photo frame, which is placed on her nightstand. It is very slick and smooth. Now there is more room on the night stand

Simple to use, right size and good internal memory. I really enjoyed the calendar feature that allows turn on/off at different times. My wife and I work and it does not make sense to leave the digital photo on during the day. With Sony I was able to program it to turn on 7:00PM Mon-Fri and off midnight. On weekends it turns on at 9:00AM. Great feature that allows energy saving and contribute to a green planet.
Nothing is perfect. The USB cable uses that connector used in printers. Sony might have an explanation to the true is the cable is different from all your other USB devices..... could be simpler and make users life easier.

I have been looking for a digital frame for pictures for a while now. My house was starting to become a shrine to my baby girl. So i figured it was time to just invest in a frame that i could just load pictures on. =).... the only problem i have (and its not really a problem that cant be fixed - i just havent looked into it)is that the frame automatically displays the pictures and some of them i want displayed one way but it displays it another. Otherwise... great purchase!

I bought this item as a gift for my wife so she could see pictures of the kids in her office without tying up her computer. The quality appears to be excellent. The colors are nice and the resolution is very good. The history mode (showing photo date) is really super for quickly reliving something like watching your little ones grow. The only minor criticism I have is that Sony should include the USB cable (USB to D-shaped connector). I had several anyway, but some customers might not. I may get one for my office and may also buy one for my mother.

This was the wow factor for my grandfather's 80th birthday. We spent over an hour staring at it. Very easy to teach him how to use it too, and how to add pictures, etc. Definitely recommend this, it's a great gift for a grandparent (or anyone, but no one ever knows what to get grandparents).

The frame displays photos vividly. I would recommend using a USB cable from computer to frame for downloading photos rather then the photo card. The instructions are a little comfusing.

I bought this as a mother's day gift and my mom loves it. Its very simple and easy to use. My mom isn't very tech savy so the easy to use remote control and setting are perfect for her. The pictures are very clear and uploading them onto the frame was easy. The only bad thing about this is that it doesn't come with its own USB cord. I thought I could just use my own, I have three different types, but I found that you need a very specific USB and none of mine work. But I have my camera's memory card and that works just fine.

I purchased this product for my daughter, who immediately put it in play. She has figured out all of the settings, and it does have display versatility, along with considerable on board memory, unless you want to add pics via usb or sd card. Excellent picture quality!

I loaded 450 pictures from a recent cruise onto my Sony digital frame. My wife was able to manipulate these photo's with ease. After receiving the first frame, I ordered a second one to take to work.[...]
