The Primacoustic Australis Bass Traps are open cell, polyurethane foam corner wedges that significantly control standing frequencies, and reduce bass in corners of studio control rooms, recording spaces, rehearsal rooms, media rooms, etc. The Bass Traps are sold as a pair and measure 12 x 36" (30.48 x 91.44cm) in order to provide maximum coverage. Install the traps into room corners, ceilings or mounted as wall stacks for audio diffusion.
Quarter-wavelength calculations prove that Australis is particularly effective for rooms with 8' (2.43m) ceilings that require 36" (91.44cm) of absorptive materials to control the troublesome 100Hz region. Achieve even greater acoustical results when used with additional Primacoustic treatment products such as with Europa, Scandia and Orientique.
