For the Panasonic DMC-GH1, set Custom Menu "SHOOT W/O LENS" option to ON.

Adapter is well made with a snug fit.

Now my collection of Minolta MD lenses have a second life.

I bought this to adapt a Minolta 500mm f8 mirror lens for my Olympus Pen E-P2. The adapter is machined to such tight tolerances that there is NO slack whatsoever. The cylindrical barrel of the adapter fits nicely into an aftermarket tripod collar (with an insert I machined on my lathe). The assemblage is rock-steady on my heavy duty tripod. So now I have a 1000mm (equivalent) lens for birding.

I started with the $50 adapter made by R.J.Camera. That was serviceable, but would focus past infinity, and had a slight amount of play due to relaxed machining tolerances. Now I see the difference that the Novoflex adapter makes. It focuses precisely on infinity, and there is no play at all on my Olympus Pen E-P2. Definitely worth the extra cost.

The other reviews should be stricken, since the adapter does work on any Micro Four Thirds camera. For Panasonics it is necessary to set the menu option "release without attached lens" to ON. No such shenanigans are required with an Olympus.

Well made, fit good with my old Minolta lens (X-700)but Panasonic DMC-GH1 send message : check if lens attach correctly.Unfotunately this adapter do not work with this camera.
