Comments about Raynox HD-3035PRO Semi-Fisheye Conversion Lens (0.3x, 37mm):
I have the Panasonic 0.7x wide angle lens, and I needed something wider. This worked perfect for my needs. It's small, light, and sharp quality. It's not a full zoom lens. I have the Panasonic AG-HMC40, and I can zoom about to 60 out of 99 with this lens on, before it starts to get blurry. There's no vignetting with this lens for me at the widest angle.

Comments about Raynox HD-3035PRO Semi-Fisheye Conversion Lens (0.3x, 37mm):
I am a professional videographer, so I know the importance of image quality. I needed a small HD camcorder I could bring along on vacations. This lens delivers about the same degree of sharpness as my professional HD cameras, PROVIDED it is used at the "wider" settings. Loss of sharpness along the edges and chromatic aberrations appear 3/4 into maximum zoom range. Barrel distortion gets noticeable as you zoom out from normal (but that's why it was called "semi-fisheye"). The lens appears to be well designed and solidly attached to the camera. I noticed that even with a UV filter between my camera and the Semi-Fisheye Lens, my Canon Vixia HF21 exhibits no visible vignetting even when the included lens shade is attached.

Comments about Raynox HD-3035PRO Semi-Fisheye Conversion Lens (0.3x, 37mm):
I use this conversion lens with Canon HF M300. Fits my camcorder perfectly. No need to use adapter ring since it has the same thread size 37mm. The wide angle is a bit tighter than MX-3000PRO. But the image is the way sharper in the corners. The barrel distorsion is the same.
When the shade mask is attached, the mask corners are visible. May be this is because of UV filter attached

I needed a great wide lens for my HD video camera. This was it, and being a pro still photographer you always need the best glass. [...] I love this lens and the results on video.

Comments about Raynox HD-3035PRO Semi-Fisheye Conversion Lens (0.3x, 37mm):
I am a professional "Still" photographer, so I know what to expect in image sharpness. This lens delivers virtually the same sharpness, and overall quality that the prime lens on my HD camcorder, (1080i, with 20X Optical Zoom), delivers, AS LONG AS you use it with the camera zoomed to the "wider" settings. If I zoom past about 3/4 of of the way to telephoto, it still holds focus, but it starts to exhibit a loss of sharpness and chromatic aberrations appear. The semi-fisheye barrel distortion is LESS noticeable as you zoom from wide angle to normal. If I don't want to zoom past 3/4 of the way to telephoto (on my camera), I can leave the lens on all the time. Appears well made, and solid.
Final note: if I zoom ALL the way to wide angle I get slight vignetting when the included lens shade is attached.

Comments about Raynox HD-3035PRO Semi-Fisheye Conversion Lens (0.3x, 37mm):
I sometimes shoot in tight enviornments and found I needed something wider than my .50 WA lens, I have just used it once but am impressed. the product description on the specifications page was right on. image curvature is most evident at widest settings but not bad and zoom through is limited but the first test showed soft focus at the edges if zoomed out to far but has enough range to be very useful
