The 300Mbps Wireless Easy-N-Upgrader from Trendnet allows you to add Wireless-N connectivity to home network without entirely replacing your router. Run an Ethernet cable from your existing router to the Easy-N-Upgrader, and it will let Wireless-N compatible devices connect to the internet up to twelve times faster than Wireless-G networks typically allow. Wireless-N can also give signal strength a boost, letting you connect more reliably from farther away.

Comments about Trendnet 300Mbps Wireless Easy-N-Upgrader:
I have AT&T Uverse installed and am on the supplied company router for that service. It is 802.11G service. I bought this with the expectations that it would give me a broader coverage area on top of 802.11G but that proved to be false. It covers about the same area as the current AT&T wireless router when placed in close proximity to it. This is the only reason I can't give it 5 stars. However, it was simple to install and configure. I also like the fact that I can place it anywhere in my home and connect it to the local LAN via CAT5E/6 cable and basically "extend" the wireless range of my network that way instead. If you have the home wired for ETHERNET using switches to your current router this option makes it a bit easier. Of course using this method only ensures the extension of the wireless 802.11B/G signal as any device using 802.11N would need to be in the same vicinity. Overall I think its a good product and one that works where you have no other option to upgrade to 802.11N.

Comments about Trendnet 300Mbps Wireless Easy-N-Upgrader:
I recently purchased this upgrader to gain access to my office about 80 to 100 feet way through a couple windows and walls. Overall the signal is ok for what its going through although nothing special considering the mimo tech that is in it.
Now on the negative note this thing is impossible(as of now) to configure a secure connection. This is probably me but ive set up 10 other wireless routers such as the Linksys brand and the Buffalo Hp routers with ease and this thing just wont transfer data when set in a secure connection. Like i said this could be me as ive never used the trendnet brand before and ill have to do some reading to figure this out. Im hoping that its something simple that im missing and not a larger issue.
Over all i think its a good product but could just use a "better" setup engine to maybe not as hard to setup.

Comments about Trendnet 300Mbps Wireless Easy-N-Upgrader:
Replaced older 54Mb unit. While my adapters are still 54Mb, I now have more range and I am able to connect at faster speeds. Install was real simple, accessed the web interface, changed what I needed to change and she was up and running.
