I bought these to add to my set of CF cards from Sandisk and Lexar. I shoot with 6 Nikon pro bodies -- four D3's, and 2 D3S's. I have a variety of card readers, including a Lexar Pro ExpressCard, a Lexar USB reader, and a Lexar Firewire reader. These cards not only exhibit very slow behavior in displaying images in the camera bodies, lately they corrupt themselves when inserted into any of the readers on any of a number of Macs running various versions of Snow Leopard and Lion. The Lexar ExpressCard drivers are outdated and have their own issues, but certainly, these cards behave badly. Once inserted, they will not show up on my desktop at least 50% of the time (not all that unique for these readers), but unlike all my other cards, they "brick" when that happens -- meaning they will NEVER show up on any mac with any reader, and when inserted back into a camera body, it shows the card cannot be used. In other words, you lose all your images at a far higher rate using these cards than with any other I've owned. They are going straight into the trash, and I would recommend avoiding them at all costs. Given that I use so many bodies, laptops, OS versions and readers, the only thing the problems all have in common is the cards themselves. They are not suitable for a pro workflow with a variety of shooters and equipment.

Used for a few weeks in my Canon 7D now. It keeps up with the camera and downloads fast to my MAC. Delivery was a day earlier than expected. I am an amateur enthusiast photographer. So far this is well worth the price. In the past I used Sandisk and they are good but this card seems to handle everything I have thrown at it just as well. I plan to buy another soon.

These transcend cards are some of the fastest cards, and are perfect for offloading footage quickly.
Fast write speeds means that it is future proofed for higher bitrate cameras.
Ive never had any issues with this or any other transcend cards.

I use this card with my Nikon D700 and added grip to shoot sports in 14bit RAW at 8fps. This is the first card I've used that allows me to pay much less attention to the buffer as it writes so quickly and keep my mind on the shots. I love the card so much just bought two more! I've been using the Transcend CF cards for years and never once had a flawed file - just the best CF card at an awesome price and a lifetime warranty. They just keep getting better. LOVE IT!

I just lost 4 of my treasured 32gb CF cards. I owned one Transcend brand card already so I decided to replace all 4 with Transcend cards. I couldn't be happier. Knock on wood I've never had any type of card failure and they perform at a very high level while carrying a competitive price.

I purchased this card over a year ago and I'm impressed with both the quality and cost. My D-300 shooting RAW images doesn't lock up until after I've shot at least 14 frames on high speed. And then i'm shooting again in less than 4 seconds. An equivalent Sandisk (which I also own)locked up at 6 shots on high speed; and costs more than double the Transcend.

Needed a faster card for my Canon 5D Mk II for an upcoming horse shoot. This card seems to work great. I first got some of the dreaded "err 20" on the camera, but after having formatted the card on the camera those disappeared.

Comments about Transcend 16GB 600X CompactFlash Extreme Plus UDMA Card:
Incredibly fast in a Nikon D700. I previously had purchased this card in the 400X version and have been so happy with it that I bought the 600X version as a spare for an extended overseas trip. I am completely satisfied with the 600X version, however I'm not sure that for my system that there is any usable increase in speed over the 400X card. As a consequence, I gave it only 4 stars to advise other buyers to consider saving money by purchasing the 400X version at a larger capacity if that is desirable.

I use this in my Canon XF100 HD camcorder, and I what i needed was a compact flash card that I can depend on. I have recorded at 50 mbs at 1980 x 1080 and so far...... Great results!.... I tried the Lexar 400 at 16gig and they cannot hold a candle to this.

Comments about Transcend 16GB 600X CompactFlash Extreme Plus UDMA Card:
I was on my way to an event and decided on the way down I needed a few more cards. Bad planning on my part; it was late and the only camera shop that catered to pros that was still open had only this brand. I needed two for my D3s... one for each slot. Slot 2 was designated for backup.
About 24 shots into my job, card #2 went bad. It kept asking to be formatted which had already been done several times... I put it in a different body... same result.
Luckily, I had several 4GB Lexar and SanDisk cards to use as backup. But the inconvenience factor slowed me down and left me without a backup until I could take a break.
I believe if I had a choice, I'd stick with the tried & true. I've always believed you get what you pay for and this was definitely the case here.
If you are a pro or semi-pro shooter and your reputation to deliver hangs in the balance, I would advise leaving these for amateurs & students.

Though I normally use Lexar or SanDisc cards I bought a pair of these cards after reading and evaluating the reviews. Formatted and tested both and then went out on photo shoot. One was fine and the other seemed fine (I could take photos with no problem). But when I went to download them they had vanished. The card seemed blank. A colleague had a laptop with her and found some freeware to pull the data off the card, so my images were saved but the card is getting returned for a refund.

Bought two of these cards for my Canon 7D after the 233x I have for my 50D were not fast enough. These cards screen and keep up with the camera.
