The 300Mbps Wireless-N Access Point from Trendnet allows you to extend your wireless network to areas of your home or business that have poor signal strength. Place the access point wherever you need to have wireless access, and you'll be able to connect up to 984' away. The access point is Wireless-N compatible, allowing you to connect at up to 300Mbps, and is backwards compatible with Wireless-G or -B networks and devices.

The access point provides standard WEP/WPA security encryption. It can also be used in Wireless Bridge Mode to wireless connect game consoles, printers, and DVRs.

      Setting up in repeater mode requires extensive knowledge in networking. The manual is useless for this purpose. Otherwise works OK. To work in the repeater mode your base router must have WDS ability.
