I use the Extreme Compact Flash in my Canon 5D Mark II. I would not use any other brand because my work cannot be redone. I am a wedding photographer and been using SanDisk for over 5 years and none of my cards have ever failed. I just follow three simple rules. 1.) Never erase or move photos from the card, only copy. 2.) Only format the card on the camera, not on a PC or MAC.. 3.) If dropped do not use on critical work because they may fail the card. These cards seem to flawless (some of mine have over a million image taken on them) if properly used and maintained.

I got this with the accesory kit and I thought something was wrong with my new camera. The card was causing the camera to freeze and loose the pictures I had taken immediatly before freezing. I would have to take the battery out to turn it off. I read online that I am not the only one that had this problem, other people said that it was this exact same card that ave them issues.

Picked this up as a backup card. Shoot mostly to a Hoodman RAW card, then switch out of paranoia so some shots are on a different card. Whie you double chances of having trouble, you don't lose everything if there is trouble. Copied the files to a laptop while keeping the originals on the cards during the shoot which makes yet another backup and also lets you know the files are good. Saving raw and jpeg from the camera, the card write time doesn't seem to get in the way - but I don't shoot video so I don't demand that much constant write speed. It works as I need it to without a hitch - while that's not asking for much, it is everything.

I've been purchasing the SanDisk Extreme cards for years, and they consistently deliver great results. I have yet to have one of these cards fail on me, and I shoot nearly every day for work (knock on wood). The only time I have an issue with the cards is if I'm shooting on Multi Shot and have about 8-10 shots in a row, it will give me the "busy" signal for a few seconds. Only happens occasionally. Fantastic Product!

Super fast wonderful quality. The only brand I buy and use.
I am a wedding photographer and use the 8GB because it gets me through one section of wedding, such as getting ready. I am not a fan of any larger because I don't want to risk having all my data on one card.

This 8GB card allows me to shoot full spectrum adobe color in RAW format for an extended shoot. I can get around 300 shots in on this card. The speed is okay. For my next card I will ramp up the speed a bit. For the price this is a good midrange card if you do not want to go up to 16GB or higher.

Bought two of these because it's nice to have one project on a card. When I use my 32GB card, I find I don't use all of it, so why not save money? My camera can't download faster than this card, so why pay for extra speed?

I wish I had gotten the 16 or 32GB card, but this one seems to work just fine for my current needs. Speed and reliability for photos (even in RAW) is more than adequate. I've not shot video yet with it, so I can't comment on speed/reliability in that capacity at this time.
