The positive:
It reads/ writes very fast.(That is also based on your camera as well) I use canon products and this card works the best out of any other brand. (Whether it be still or video)
I shoot a lot of events, of course on RAW, and I don't have to change my card until the very end with the 16GB. I use a Mark II and get 700ish images on RAW or three minutes per GB for video.
The Negative:
It cost way too much money! But that is the price for being a photographer.
Conclusion:
If your a professional or a semi-professional definitely use this card!
If you're an amateur, Don't spend the money until you establish what you want to do with photography.

I have some issues while recording HD videos with my 5DmarkII.
It seems like sometimes you need more speed from the card and that the card is not delivering. You get a sign on the screen showing you need more speed ( check out the page 141 of the Instruction Manual for the 5d mkII that's the sign it will show up).
It's not all the time, just sometimes.
I am kind of disappointed because I wasn't expecting this at all from the 60MB/s 16Gb SanDisk, but Some how it happens.
I haven't been able to realize when is that this is going to happen. It happens under normal conditions, no long days, no heat, not cold, not fast movements.... I don't know...
I just order another card from a different brand , this new one is faster so let's see how it goes.
I'm giving just one (1) star because everybody rated really well and nobody mention this problem. (the card is not that bad, but you may have this problem from time to time).

I only had 4G cards, this gives me more storage without having to change cards frequently and risk missing "the shot"

You've got to love a fast card. There's something comforting about getting your data where it needs to be at the right time. The best part? The Price.

Comments about SanDisk 16GB Extreme CompactFlash Memory Card:
Have two other SanDisk Extreme cards and was happy with them, but they were smaller. This one should be big enough to last for many shoots. Wasn't doing anything that would tax the speed, but it seemed fast enough.

Wonderful product, I have several Sandisk memory cards and have never had a problem with them.

Comments about SanDisk 16GB Extreme CompactFlash Memory Card:
The card runs fast enough that I haven't noticed the camera slow down. In fast burst mode on my Canon 7D, it will fire off shots continuously until either the battery runs out or the card gets full. You can't ask for much more than that.

My second of this same card. Works great on my 7D; both for picture and video. Never had any problem with the card being slower than necessary to achieve desired results. Plays back video without missing frames. I have yet to max out the 7D's buffer using this card. You can pay for a faster 600X card but I don't know why you would need to (at least on the 7D). Transfer to computer using UDMA card reader certainly meets my expectations!

SanDisk in my opinion is the only way to go. I have used these cards thoughout the years without one single hiccup. Noticable speed difference over my 30MB/s cards.

The 16 GB Extreme Compact Flash Memory Card by San Disk provides more than enough space capacity and sustaining data rates to do more than your fair share of digital photography or video. I use my Extreme with a Canon 7D largely for documentary work. The card has held up so well I do not even notice it is there. Highly recommended.

SanDisk's quality is always excellent and the price at Christmas time was fantastic. I am sorry I only bought 3. My preference is 16gb for many reasons and I always test them upon arrival. Not only is the product great, the customer service department of this company is equally great.

I have only had this for about a week now, but I recently used it on a shoot and it worked perfectly. Its very fast, and is very useful to have when shooting in RAW! I got this for [$], and I wish I would have bought 2 or 3!

Purchased 2 more from B&H since the price had dropped. I now have 4 of these CFs of which 3 are earmarked for photos in my Canon 5D II and the other one for videos. Best combination of speed, performance, reliability and price. Can shoot roughly 1700 RAW images and 25 minutes of video while in the field. You can never have enough GBs of memory. B&H and Sandisk rocks!

Comments about SanDisk 16GB Extreme CompactFlash Memory Card:
This is the first flash card I buy in years, after acquiring a new DSLR. It's fast and works well. However, I tend to fill it very quickly shooting only raw images and the occasional HD video. Unless you shoot jpegs or have smaller MP camera, I recommend going for a card with more capacity.
