I bought a couple of 16/60 cards prior to a vacation to ensure I had enough media that no shots would have to be deleted in the field. I shoot exclusively to SanDisk Extreme CF media because I've never had a single problem with their performance. While I don't shoot bursts on my Canon 5D MKII, I do shoot 1080p HD video, and the 16/60 handles that flawlessly.
If you are a sports shooter or any other style that uses a lot of burst shooting, maybe you should step up to a 16/90 depending on the throughput you need, but as I mentioned, this card works very well for holding of single-shot RAW files as well as capturing HD video. Sure, you could save a few dollars by going with a less expensive CF card by a different vendor, but do you really want to chance that irreplaceable shot to potential corruption by using (and depending on) a cheaper product?

I have some issues while recording HD videos with my 5DmarkII.
It seems like sometimes you need more speed from the card and that the card is not delivering. You get a sign on the screen showing you need more speed ( check out the page 141 of the Instruction Manual for the 5d mkII that's the sign it will show up).
It's not all the time, just sometimes.
I am kind of disappointed because I wasn't expecting this at all from the 60MB/s 16Gb SanDisk, but Some how it happens.
I haven't been able to realize when is that this is going to happen. It happens under normal conditions, no long days, no heat,not cold, not fast movements.... I don't know...
I just order another card from a different brand , this new one is faster so let's see how it goes.
I'm giving just one (1) star because everybody rated really well and nobody mention this problem. (the card is not that bad, but you may have this problem from time to time).

I bought the card to use in my Canon 20D. I installed it and it seemed fine. I even plugged it into my Sandisk multi Card reader and it showed the proper numbers. In about 2 days the card was showing only 8 Gigs free and the card was empty. I even plugged it into my Multi Card reader and it showed the same as the camera. I am now in the process of exchanging the card. Having received what I need to return it to B&H.

I have been using Sandisk for over 5 years now, and I have never had a complaint. I added 2 of these cards to my collection for my Canon 7D.
These cards are fast and I feel 16GB is just the right amount of storage for me. For me, Sandisk has always been a reliable and good quallity brand.
If you need fast cards for high FPS and video, these will do the trick.

I recently upgraded to this card for a wedding I was helping to shoot and it was great. Honestly don't have a lot to compare speed to, but significant difference over my Ultra card. My DSLR is a little older and only 8MP, but I don't think my shots-left counter ever dipped below 999.

The CF card peforms faultlessly, fast and reliable, no need to wait even when I shoot at fast frame rate.
Might I also add that B&H UPS delivery was top notch. Received the items within 5 days and I'm in Malaysia !
The only not so good thing was that the 2 white see-through umbrellas which I also bought at the same time, well one was ok but the other one was ellowish and not white at all !
