Canon Selphy ES40 - Impressora Fotográfica Compacta

The Canon Selphy ES40 Compact Photo Printer is a dye-sublimation printer which uses heat to transfer ink to paper and reproduces up to 16.8 million colors. It will output a postcard-sized photo in under a minute. Users will never have ink without paper and vice versa because they come in one package...changing media is as easy as replacing a single cartridge.
The ES40 is equipped to print with or without a computer. It is compatible with 20 different memory card types, has a USB port and PictBridge connection for printing directly from a digital camera or DV camcorder. The ES40 can also print wirelessly from Bluetooth mobile devices with the optional BU-30 Bluetooth Adapter.
The Selphy ES40 is simple to operate. The front panel has a high-resolution 3.5" LCD display to view, select and edit pictures plus an Easy Scroll Wheel for selecting various printer features. A Creative Print button allows users to customize photos with elements such as frames, speech bubbles, calendars, and other enhancements.
The ES40 has a voice guidance feature which when engaged will alert users to various printer functions such as, "Select a color", or "Replace the cartridge". It is lightweight (under 5 pounds) and compact (approx 9 x 9") and has a built in carry handle. For added convenience it also has a built-in power adapter.

This thing prints out great prints. Yes, each print is kind of expensive, however the quality of the print is great. Hopefully Canon will continue with the paper/ink cartridges since the printer was discontinued. Don't understand why they discontinued it as it does a great job printing.

The printer arrived just as my sister and I were getting ready to leave town on a short trip, so I took it with me. I left my sister at her friend's house and went on to visit with friends of mine. I'm so glad I had the printer with me because I took a picture of everyone and when I returned to my hotel room, plugged the printer in and printed a picture for everyone right there to hand out the next day! It worked great; took it to my sister's friend's house on the way home and she was thrilled to "play" with it and print some of her own pictures. She does a LOT of scrapbooking and will definitely be getting one for her "scrap weekends" with the girls. Can't wait to use it some more and learn more of the cool things it will do.

This is a reat printer. Especially the combined printer/ink cartridge. You are never left with paper and no ink. Easy to use and it is great you can print directly from the memory card. I use it to print radiographs and have printed hundred's of prints without problems.

Got this printer in time for the opening of my sister's store. we wanted to have a printer that we could use to give photos to the first 50 customers. when the package arrived, i immediately opened the box and started to print. viola! set-up was so easy, the prints were great. just hoped there would be more creative stuffs to do.

I have inquired about this sweet lil toy for quite a while and have told my husband that this would be such a handy lil tool to have at home or even take with us to print out copies for others that travel with us. I have received this as a gift for Christmas and i have to say that is the best gift ever. I love the versitility of the size you can take it traveling with you. You want pictures from someone elses camera that is traveling with you just pluck the card from their camera and put it right into the selphy and print away without disturbing anyones time on sending pictures via email. ready set go do it your selphy. it fun to watch print. I love the fact that you can print nice borders on them and use them as postcards for holiday photos. Its just a handy lil printer to have around. I take to relatives house for the holidays and we share photos by loading the disc into the machine and print away and noone has to have duplicates printed because we all go home with the photos right then and there. Best purchase ever and i recommend this to everyone that has family and travels. Its just so easy fast.
