Fits well both my Nikkor lenses as well as the MFT camera body. The blue gear to adjust exposure is handy, especially in those cases when you wish to close the iris between stops. My biggest complaint is that it came without any caps. I like to keep this on the body of my AF100 camera, since I use almost exclusively Nikon lenses. However, without a cap, the sensor of the camera would remain exposed to light and dust. I attempted to find a fitting Nikon body cap, but the flange of the adapter is different from that of the cameras, so the cap will not stay in place. Finally, had to rig the cap with a washer, and now it finally closes. For the price this carries, I think they should at least include a cap!

I just received a Nikon F-mount to Micro Four Thirds Novoflex adapter, and it's a very poor value for the money.
1- It won't fit many G-mount or non-G lenses. In a quick test from my camera bag, my 12-25mm Nikkor G won't fit. Novoflex failed to allow for clearance of the Nikkor's baffle tab. My 85mm f/1.8 Nikkor won't fit either for the same reason. I've read reports of this problem from other users with other lenses (both Nikkors and third-party F-mounts) and thought that Novoflex may have fixed the design after this early feedback. The problem is still there and I'm not about to grind the tabs off my Nikkors to make them useable with this adapter.
2- The aperture control ring on this adapter is very poorly executed. It has no indexing detents or aperture scale so you have to adjust the aperture blind except for the feedback the camera's metering system gives you. The throw of the apterture adjustment is very short, so it's hard to make small adjustments. If lighting isn't changing, you can determin a full stop adjustment by reading the shutter speed changes via the camera, but if you want to avoid apertures smaller the f/11 under changing lighting or use hyperfocal technique with any confidence you're out of luck. The knurling of the Novoflex aperture ring is minimal. It's hard to first find the ring, to make fine aperture adjustments, and then to avoid bumping it out of adjustment once you've set a working aperture.
3- The F-mount side locking detent isn't accurately placed. It doesn't want to engage with some lenses and it's sloppy with others. The release lever is a tiny nub that's as un-ergonomic as the adapter's poorly designed aperture ring.

Use this product on a Panasonic AG AF 100 camera with a Nikon 35 mm prime and everything fits perfectly smooth, really enjoy the apature ring for quick and easy adjustments. Product isn't cheaply made, strong highly durable material.

Comments about Novoflex Nikon to Micro Four Thirds Lens Adapter:
I bought this so that I could use my LensBaby on both my Nikon and M4/3 systems without buying two sets. It does that, but also lets me use my Zeiss lenses (so that my 100 Macro Planar becomes an effective 1:1 200mm), Nikon 300mm f4.0 becomes an effective 600mm, etc. It also lets me use my 'G' lenses with no problems so that my 24-120 works flawlessly. If like me you have a good set of Nikon lenses and a m4/3 system, then this is a good purchase.

Comments about Novoflex Nikon to Micro Four Thirds Lens Adapter:
I thought that this product would be great to attach my Nikon lenses to my new Panasonic G3 camera, but it's just too frustrating without all of the auto features to which one becomes accustomed. I also found it all but impossible to use the reqired manual focus with my favorite Nikon 105,f2.8 macro lens. My plan is to just purchase the lenses matched to the camera body, and get all of the integrated features. For me the frustrations aren't worth the money saved.

I like this so much, I just bought a second one. The ideal aspect of this adapter for me is that it has an adjustable aperture on it. You don't have to adjust the lens. it's really perfect for me.

not cheap, but solid as a rock. the aperture adjusts smoothly and the couple of lenses i mounted on my af-100 fit perfectly. i haven't tried other adapters, but a colleague of mine who rents my camera said he's tried them all and this is the only way to go.

Bought this adapter to use my AIS lens on my E-P2, I am really satisfy with the quality of this one, you can control the aperture of all your lens, even if there is no ring for aperture on it.

Comments about Novoflex Nikon to Micro Four Thirds Lens Adapter:
I purchased this adapter to allow the use of Nikon AF lens with a Panasonic G3 4/3 camera. After assembling the camera-adapter-Nikon lens combination, I turned the camera on and discovered that camera would not recognize the lens. I could not operate the camera. I discovered that the camera had a setting, [SHOOT W/O LENS]. I enabled the setting and the camera became operational. However, in this mode of operation, the camera auto-focus feature is disabled. You can take any photo that you desire as long as you manually focus the lens. I discussed the issue with B&H Tech Support and they confirmed that this adapter will not permit auto focus.

Comments about Novoflex Nikon to Micro Four Thirds Lens Adapter:
Had to buy this elsewhere because B&H were out of them.
This adapter performs perfectly. The iris control gets rid of the clicking ring on the lens, which smoothens things out. There are no markers, but you adjust the iris for balanced exposure, so who cares?
I did have a problem with the adapter not engaging a tab on only one of my Nikkors, but all I had to do was slightly bend the tab out (maybe 10 degrees) and it works fine now. This didn't change the lense for SLR function, as I shoot video, so no big deal. If you're too wimpy to perform this tiny bend, maybe you should watch television instead of trying to be creative.

I got this most $$$$$ mount coz i really don't want anything wrong in my $$$$$ Nikon lenses, it work PERFECT in all my lenses even G line.
After I mount a 2X mount with 70-200 to my GF1, I've a 800mm in cheap price.
