Hoya 58mm Hoya HD Clear Protection Glass Filter
The Hoya 58mm HD Clear Glass Protection Filter is a wise initial investment. It helps protect your valuable investment from dust, moisture and scratches, which can lead to costly repairs. This unique filter has been designed to be extra strong against both breakage and water damage - a big benefit when it comes to protecting your expensive optics. It can repel water and is also stain resistant which will permit more light to reach your sensor/film.
Multi-coated to minimize reflection at the filter surfaces which reduces flare and ghosting.
- If desired it can be left on the lens at all times for protection
- 4x the breaking strength in ANSI standardized testing - rated against steel balls of varying size and weight dropped from a height of 50" onto the glass

The product does its job, the problem is I had to clean it with a lenspen for 10 minutes before using it because of all the dust/specs on the glass.
