Bought this to attach my Firestore to a shoulder rig, and it works a treat. Small enough to keep the rig compact and lightweight, but highly flexible. My only criticism is that the knob/handle which tightens the whole arm is a little too big compared to the rest of the tiny arm, and could have been made a little smaller; it can get in the way slightly. But other than that minor point, it's a very useful bit of kit.

After several uses, this arm fell apart in my hands at the top of a busy shooting day. I was using it to support my lightweight Manhattan LCD monitor with a medium sized panasonic battery powering it.
The arm failed to tighten, and when given an extra crank completely fell apart. I've never had a good experience using ikan products and should have known better before buying this arm, never again.

Used to support a 7" marshall monitor. Hard to tighten to my redrock rig... a little annoying. But it still gets the job done.

This little arm has everything I need for mounting a monitor or audio recorder on my rig, is not as big as others but that's ok because that makes it lightweight.

It fell apart on me after only 1 shoot with it - I used it for the Small HD' DP1 field monitor (9 inch.) Maybe the monitor was just too heavy for it.. I don't know but probably won't by an Ikan again.

I like the size and strength of this little articulating arm. It's just he right size for a small monitor off of a rod system or a camera 1/4 20 hole.

Comments about Ikan MA206 6" Articulating Arm:
I am using this arm for my 7 inch monitor on a DSLR rig. With one knob you can tighten the whole arm down. It is strong and easy to use. My only problem with the product is that it is dificult to attach to your rig once the monitor is atached and the only way around this is twisting the whole thing on.

An inexpensive way to get an articulated arm on your camera for whatever accesssory you are going to throw at it. Works as advertised. Every Camera Op should have at least one of these in their toolkit.

Comments about Ikan MA206 6" Articulating Arm:
This arm just fell apart on me in the middle of a shoot. I've used it for the last month or so to mount my 7" Marshall with a Panasonic Battery onto my DSLR rig and it has already fallen apart. iThis is my 3rd iKan product that has failed, so I'm pretty sure I'm done with iKan. It's not worth saving the money.

Comments about Ikan MA206 6" Articulating Arm:
This arm has worked well for mounting my Marshall 7" monitor to my camcorder and my Glidecam sled. It has 2 joints which both tighten down with one knob. But be careful to assure that you have plenty of threads engaged when you tighten, or your monitor may fall off as mine did onto a concrete floor, nearly giving me a heart attack. It was operator error and hasn't happened since. (The monitor survived with only a couple of scuff marks due to sturdy metal construction.) This arm makes it easy to get your monitor into proper viewing position.

I'm using this arm to hold accessories onto my Canon DSLR and it's a nice small size, came with a hot shoe mount and has a large lock down knob - all pluses for me! I'm always looking for products that serve me well that are lightweight and functional - this one works!
It's also affordable!

Comments about Ikan MA206 6" Articulating Arm:
What this arm does is pretty obvious. I'm not sure what it's maximum load is but it hold's the 5.6" monitor I use with ease. It's maybe a bit of a half range size... I wanted something a bit smaller but basically no complaints.

Comments about Ikan MA206 6" Articulating Arm:
I enjoy this arm. Mine seems to be a little stiff on one side. As in, with a few twists, the arm will bend and one ball joint will spin freely for positioning. But to get the other ball joint to spin, the one that holds the monitor, it takes many many twists to get it free. I may be missing the point and this may be a design feature, not a flaw...but it is awkward. Not enough to make me upset though...
