The 8TB TeraStation III Rackmount NAS Network Hard Drive from Buffalo is a professional rackmount network storage system, capable of meeting almost any task. It features dual Gigabit Ethernet ports with trunking capability for maximum performance, and can be configured in a variety of RAID configurations.
Suitable for use in IT environments, the storage system offers full support for the Microsoft Active Directory system. If multiple units are installed, UID LEDs on the back of the unit can be engaged for quick visual identification, allowing you to quickly locate a unit that is in need of maintenance.
In addition to supporting Active Directory, the TeraStation III supports quotas, DFS, hot-swap, and hot-spare functionality. It is an excellent choice for SMB and mid-level business environments that require a high-performance, yet reliable, embedded NAS solution.
