The Pelco External Power Supply for UTP Active Receivers has dual hot-swappable 120W power supplies that slide into a tray. The unit provides primary or redundant power for up to 4 UTP active receivers (TW3008AR-4, TW3016AR, TW3016AR-2, CM9700-UTP16, TW3032AR, or CM9700-UTP32), and can be mounted into a 19" EIA-standard rack.
The relay output connector on the back of the power supply is connected to the alarm LED that turns red when an alarm condition (such as the loss of the optical signal or the video signal) occurs. Depending on whether it is set to normally closed (N.C.) or normally open (N.O.), the relay closes or opens.
With the 6-pin power connector, you can connect a Y-shaped overmolded cable (supplied) from the EPS5000-120TW to up to 4 UTP active receivers. The power fail LED turns red when a problem (that can cause the power supply fail) appears. The blue Pelco badge turns off when 1of the power supplies fails.
