For the price, an absolutely excellent all-in-one printer for our office. The only downside is it can be a little slow on printing high quality photos, but that is to be expected. Overall, a wonderful unit.

the directions were easy on hooking it into the wireless network. Once it was hooked in as long as you have a solid signal the printer can go anywhere inside or out of your home or work.
Configuration takes appx 20 mins from start to finish.

I used this printer for my last business and liked it enough that I bough the same model again. (The old one stayed with the business). An aspect of this printer I like better is it was a fraction of the price I paid for the first one. I'm having trouble getting it to scan wirelessly, but that may be user error after the reinstall of software.

Using this as a small office scanner and color printer. Fax is not needed. Really like sheet feeder for scanning to PDF. The unit is on our wireless network and we have an SD card installed that acts as a network drive (to retrieve scans). Also like front facing display as this unit sits on top of a filing cabinet. Only complaint is small piece of dirt on the underside of the scanning bed glass. Would have to open up unit in order to remove.

the price of printers are so reasonable these days, it cost almost the same to just buy a new unit then to refill the inks. I got this to replace a previous all in one and liked the faster speed, built in wireless ability, and the individual ink tanks. setup was pretty easy and straightforward. for the price and functionality you cant go wrong. easy menus and a lot of options. we are using it in a small home office and have it networked through the house too using the wireless

This printer is awesome! Wireless as well as ether-net connectivity. Photo quality printing, faxing, copying and scanning. Accepts all types of media for printing as well. It does it all with ease. All the computers in my house connected to it with ease using the installation CD.

I have a small home business with multiple laptops connected through my router. I couldn't believe how easy this was to set up. And all laptops print remotely without a hitch. The install has to be performed on each system, and takes about 15 minutes each, but it's worth the time. The speed and the quality are also the best I've seen for a deskjet. I replaced a Workforce 500 with the 610 and haven't looked back.

This printer is amazing. I have used all of the components and everything has worked well. My only issue so far is that the photo quality prints take a while due to network connection lag. I haven't called Epson yet to fix it so it may just be a setting on my end. The photo prints look as great if not better than professional processing. Comes with a high capacity black cartridge and regular color cartridges.

I am really glad I made this purchase. All the features I wanted for the right price. Thanks to B&H for that! It installs easily and works perfectly. Scanning over the network to any of my computers is a plus. The prints look good to me. I don't why people complain about the black text output of this AIO. If you want perfect black text, buy a good laser printer. The footprint is surprisingly small, being roughly the same size as my old Laserjet 2100, and fits perfectly out of the way.

The only negative I can see about the 610 is perhaps the build quality. It is fine for a home environment, but I can't really see it in a heavy use business environment. I could easily see the plastic paper input and output trays, and the scanner cover hinges being ravaged by a frustrated or not too careful employee. Overall this the best AIO currently under $200. Buy it!

I was looking for a printer mainly to produce promotional materials and business cards for my business. I considered several different printers and read the reviews for each one. The Workforce 610 was consistently and highly praised for the quality in photo printing, something that I considered essential in a printer. Many of the reviews also included a lot of negatives and I will address each of them separately.
1. First, as to the quality of the photos, it is unbelievable how good they are, even in the draft printing option. I printed tri-fold brochures for my business which included several pictures. The quality was better than the well known printing company I was using. I cannot say enough about this feature.
2. There were a lot of complaints about the printer being noisy. I did not find this to be true. In fact, I have my printer set in the living room and unless you are right on top of the printer, you cannot hear it printing. It is as quiet as any other printer I have tested or used.
3. Many reviews complained that printing photos took a long time. Again I find this in direct conflict with my experience. The front of my brochure is 95% photo, and they printed rather quickly as far as I am concerned, and I am not a patient person! It was withing an acceptable time frame that they printed and when I showed the brochure to a friend of mine, she wanted to know which printing company produced them for me. She also is now a proud owner of a Workforce 610.
3. I also saw complaints about the cost of replacement ink in several reviews. Again, this is not my experience. The fact that this printer uses a four cartage system makes it very attractive because you do not have to have all four cartridges to print in black, unlike most printers. The replacement cost for ink is anywhere between $5.00 and $7.00 cheaper than other printers on the market so it is relatively inexpensive to replace. The four cartridge system allows you to print black even if the color ink is out which means you are not without the printer just because you cannot afford to replace all four cartridges at once.
4. I also came across some complaints about the difficulty of powering the printer on and off. Again, I have had zero problems with this.
5. The only negative I have experienced with this printer is that if you are doing color documents in significant number, it starts leaking black ink on the corner of the document when it gets too hot, making it necessary to allow it to cool before finishing the project. All in all, this is an amazing and outstanding product from Epson. If you own a small business, this printer is a must for it's overall functionality, quality, and productivity.

I haven't used the scanner or fax yet. Based on printing and copy it is a little slow and quite noising. But for the price not a big deal!
