The Denon DN-S700 Tabletop CD/MP3 Disc Player measures a compact 9" wide, supports MP3 and standard audio CDs, and is well suited for the mobile or home DJ who doesn't want to sacrifice quality for portability. A large LED display provides track, tempo and additional information while the large jog/shuttle wheel lets DJs manipulate audio just like vinyl.
The 100mm pitch slider features +/- 6%, 10%, 16% and 100% ranges for enhanced audio control. A built-in effects processor provides echo, flanger and filter effects; and Hot Start / Seamless Looping lets you remix in real-time. Additional features include Auto and Manual BPM modes, Pitch Bend, digital output, Fader Start and more.

Does Most of the necessary things you want it to do.I was surprised how well made it is compared to higher priced units.... and everything works!... package came in perfect condition and on time. this is an older model I believe and you'll probably see a newer version soon

They do the basics, which is what I want, along with Denon quality. Great looking too!
Don't need echo, filter. I wish eject button was larger.

I'm not a DJ and just bought the unit as a CD player. This is a high quality machine at a great price! I use the loop feature to get repeated continuous play. The small footprint is just what I needed. I tried all the DJ features for my own education. My visitors are impressed.

Having been a technics turntable dj for many years, decided to add these denons with the decks. I was just looking for entry levels for now, and eventually move up to more scratch/effect cdj later after I get comfortable with these DNS700's.
The effects are great and fun to use with hip hop and especially electronic music. The loop function is great for making a quick sample or just to loop a beat. The pitch control is nice being able to go +/- 100, you can make a record stop type sound. Just playing with for a few hours you can have alot of fun using these. Granted, these don't have multiple effects, scratching, reverse, and many other advanced fucntions like other cdj players. But these are
great value and easy to use for any dj level.

I bought a pair of these CD decks so I could practice my mixes at home and carry them as spares when I DJ for my friends business.
So far I'm very happy, the build quality is excellent, I reckon they'd take quite a lot of punishment, especially if flight-cased and all the controls are smooth and responsive. The jog-wheel particularly is excellent, large, sensitive and smooth.
The built in effects are great, the standard adjustments are there, but nothing more so they're not unnecessarily complicated.
The only thing I've found which is a bit odd, is that occasionally when using MP3 discs, the player has confused me by setting the cue-point to the place at which I last hit play, rather than cue as you're supposed to... I'm not entirely sure whether this is a bug in it's software, could well be that I'm doing something wrong!
