International orders*The MA-15D stereo digital desktop monitors from Cakewalk provide crisp, clear audio with a wide frequency response in a compact design. Ideal for use in home, project, or mobile studios, each monitor features a genuine wood cabinet with dual bass reflex ports. The cabinet contains a 4" woofer and a 2" tweeter, which provide thumping bass and clear treble. Each monitor offers 30W of amplifier power for a strong signal with low distortion.
The rear panel features an analog stereo RCA input, a 3.5mm line input, and optical and coaxial digital S/PDIF inputs, which can support digital audio at rates up to 24-bit/192kHz. A bass enhancer switch allows you to boost your bass, while an RCA subwoofer output allows you to connect a separate subwoofer to your system.
The front panel features a 1/4" headphone jack for convenient monitoring, as well as bass and treble control knobs to adjust the tone of the monitors. Independent volume controls are provided for digital/line 1 and line 2 inputs. The speakers are magnetically shielded for safe use near video monitors.

Use these speakers in my office to listen to music, podcasts, and to payback podcasts that I have recorded in Garage Band. Love the sound and functionality of multiple connection methods.

I use them in my music studio for play back and the high and mid ends sound great through the speaker but I have to rig up a seperate sub set up so I could get low end for playback

Comments about Roland MA-15D 4" 30W 2-Way Desktop Monitor (Pair, Black):
I've had those speakers for years. Before they were sold as Edirol brand but everything is the same. Usually I use them for movie editing. Analog output is amazing but digital blew my expectations. If I can say they are the best computer monitors on a market. Before I used Bose brand, I still have Bose system, which is more expensive, but I even would not compare Bose speakers to Roland. Bose only good for internet maybe for gaming.

This is just what I needed. I was buying equipment to set up a professional editing bay at home. These speakers made an amazing addition to it. They look cool, sound great, and have a lot of options. I definitely recommend these.

Comments about Roland MA-15D 4" 30W 2-Way Desktop Monitor (Pair, Black):
these speakers are great for the price. they are lightweight - amazing to just hook up to digital devices without the clunk of an external sub woofer. im someone who likes wooden and retro looking speakers and for speakers that are black and a little more modern, these are subtle and pretty. the sound is very clear and nice and deep but sometimes it sounds a little heavy on the bass, and the dial that turns down the bass doesnt turn it down very far.ive also been stuck on just the sound coming out of my computer for a while - so it could just take some getting used to. all and all i really like them.

Comments about Roland MA-15D 4" 30W 2-Way Desktop Monitor (Pair, Black):
I added these speakers to my editing suite. The digital input works great with my graphics card, while the analog is great for general computer audio.
Sound Quality is very good.
