Guitar Tracks Pro 4 from Cakewalk is multi-track recording and editing software designed with guitarists, bassists, and singer-songwriters in mind. It streamlines the recording process for musicians, and gives you the option of adding a virtual backing band with programmable drums, bass, keys, and strings. There are lots of great sounding effects included and powerful editing capabilities that enable you to make a perfect mix. CD burning software is included, and Guitar Tracks Pro 4 even makes it easier to share your music on the Internet.
Just because Guitar Tracks Pro was designed from the ground up to make more sense to musicians doesn't mean that it lacks in power. You can record and mix up to 32 audio tracks and 64 virtual instrument tracks. You can program a virtual string quartet to accompany your composition, or you can notate the score, print out the sheet music, and record a real string quartet into your project. Guitar Tracks Pro is compatible with most computer audio/MIDI interfaces, and it works with Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7.
