I didn't think that the write speed mattered, but it does. Makes reviewing pictures and taking speed shots much faster. I bought a cheap 1G card from local store and it just [*]. It fills fast and the camera is constantly writing to memory. While reviewing pics, you have time to take a short nap. This thing is defiantly worth it! I would buy it again if I had the chance. I use it with a Canon 7D. This card is a must for recording HD video.

High price, not really meeting the mark
It's a big memory card, but did not get the performance I was expecting for video with my Canon 5D Mark II

I purchased this card to use in my Canon 7d camera
As I set my camera quality to RAW the images are much larger than other formats and usually take a while to process. With this card the images are stored much quicker than any others I've owned
It is a great product and I highly recommend it

I bought this card after reviewing two other cards Sandisk Extreme 3 32 and Kingston Ultimate 600x...I decided to spend the time testing these as the $ outlay was considerable as well as I wanted to get the best out of my 7D with RAW+JPG output. I tested using CrystalMark 64 and ATTO disk markHere are the results...check them out http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/52/lexarcrystalmark.jpg/http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/221/attobenchmark.jpg/http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/651/sandiskcrystalmark.jpg/http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/708/sandiskf.jpg/The kingston was so bad its not even worth uploading photos for.... Sandisk was not bad too and is my backup card however I have the Lexar as my primary card...I have now used the card for more than 15 cycles and I can't stop raving about it...now with the new price its even more worth it... I highly recommend etting the Lexar Express CF Reader...

Comments about Lexar 32GB Professional UDMA 600x CompactFlash Card:
I bought this card to compliment the high shooting speed of my Canon 7D – and I couldn't be happier with my purchase! When shooting in JPEG the high write speed of this card allows the camera to shoot at the full 8 fps (slightly faster with a battery grip) for as long as you feel like holding down the shutter release (you could fill all 32GB at 8 fps; non-stop…simply amazing). When shooting in RAW if you shoot in small bursts (say 7-8 frame bursts with 1-2 seconds in-between bursts) you can essentially do the same.
The size of this card may be overkill for people who primarily shoot in JPEG, but it is very nice for those who shoot in RAW. I have been able to shoot all day long (in RAW) without having to worry about changing memory cards.

I had the 32GB Professional UDMA 400x CompactFlash Card by Lexar for about 6 months and it went bad. It wouldn't format and nothing could read it. Sent it back and within a couple weeks they sent me a new 32gb professional 600x compact flash card.[...] I got a free upgrade! Amazing! I love lexar! Lexar has a customer for life! Nikon D700

This card has enabled me to keep pace with the sports action.
It is able to keep up with my Canon EOS 1D MarkIII when shooting 10fps.
I find it a bit expensive.

These are the best CF cards around...but really why spend the money when you can get a SanDisk for 1/2 (or less) the price?
