This is my third Ipod, and my first Ipod Touch. It was exactly what I was waiting for since the memory capacity of previous models was a huge limitation. Know with 64GB of memory this one is just right. The screen is a beauty, it is great to scroll through the programs. I bought the application for the HAVA remote TV, and it works better than in my laptop. Great product.

The photos, video, and audio are nice and work well. It appears that with WiFi I can attach files to my Yahoo email, which the Touch Pro doesn't allow. But the on-screen keyboard is a nightmare compared to the Touch Pro's keyboard. The screen resolution doesn't compare well with the Touch Pro. The equalizer should be a real equalizer, like with my 10-year old Winamp software. The brightness setting is not as good as the old iPods, which could be set to high and auto-off within x number of seconds. Finally, the non-disk access makes this more of a toy than a real personal digital assistant.

I've had it a week, and so far its great. I'm finding new apps all the time to do things like create music, study language, or study for my private pilot's license. The only big problem is that it randomly exits apps occasionally--they just shut down and it goes back to the menu screen without any apparent cause, Its annoying, but doesnt happen all that much...

This is for my daughter who is in a remote area of the world -- didn't need Face Time or the measley .7 megapixel camera of Gen 4 iPod. Did need room for movies, music, photos, so Gen 3 64 gb fits the bill.

Purchased an iPod Touch for myself and my wife. We both are really enjoying them. Great to have access to our email as well as the ability to play music from our collection or online using Pandora.
Only negative is that it doesn't have a built in camera. (That is why I give it 4 stars instead of 5). For this price it should. Rumor has it that next week Apple will be announcing their updates to the iPod Touch and that the new versions will have a front and back facing camera.
Overall, a great product.

I previously had an 8GB IPOD and wanted more storage capacity, so I bought the 64GB. I have been more than pleased with this purchase. The sound quality is much better than the 8GB and I especially love the Voice Control Feature. All yuo have to do is push a button the earphone remote control and say "Play songs by _____" and it will. I know you can't have everything in one device, but it sure would be nice to be able to "buy" wi-fi for your IPOD so you do not have to rely on free wi-fi hot spots. Other than not being able to take advantage of the apps due to the wi-fi issue, I love my new IPOD

It's not an Ipad, but the ipod touch 3rd generation hits a highmark. Easy to use ipod interface and readily available apps makes for listening and viewing fun.
