The Nimbus V Digital Video Computer Workstation from Rain Recording is a professional motion graphics production platform developed in partnership with technicians from B&H Photo. Based on Rain's Nimbus Audio + Video Workstation, Nimbus V includes an nVIDIA Quadro FX 1700 workstation graphics accelerator, 1.5TB of high performance storage, and 4GB of 1333MHz DDR3 memory, with a maximum capacity of 16GB. With Intel's new "Lynnfield" Core i7 processor multi-tasking your creative projects, you've got everything you need to bring to life the sights and sounds in your imagination.
The new Nimbus V is available exclusively at B&H Photo, by itself or as part of an expertly integrated turnkey solution for Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere, Sony Vegas and more. With an array of FireWire, USB, PCI Express and eSATA ports, you will be able to connect virtually any peripheral device. Connect your hardware, stream media at up to 6Gbps, and experience what it's like when your computer is able to keep up with your creativity.
