this case has just enough room for a mini recorder, its paperwork, a windjammer, 4 spare batteries, a rechargeable battery charger, a pair of 7506's, and there's also 3 slots for sdhc cards, a cubby for caged cards, and there's still room for more accessories...
please note this case is designed to hold things, protection is fine for light travel etc..minor bumps and knocks, the odd drop or fall, as it is durable but this is not a flight case.

This case is small and it holds my field recorder perfectly. I like that it has space around the inner storage core. That makes me feel that this case will really protect my recorder if I should I accidentally drop it. I am a teacher and this equipment will be used for high school students. This case looks rugged. I think it should be able to handle the beating that my students will give it.

I got this for my TASCAM DR-40 and it was perfect. I don't use the ability to put in my headphones, but it would work for those $50 Sony headphones with the earmuffs. I have the standard Sony MDR 7506 and it won't fit very easily. However, the case does a great job.

This seems like a useful little case to carry around audio recording gear - ours are carrying H4n kits. Pretty basic but all you need. I would make two changes to the design - the inner compartment for the recorder should have a velcro back so it can be removed entirely - it is currently sewn or glued to the inside of the case. It would be that much more flexible or useful if you could remove just the pouch with the recorder and tuck it in another bag. Also, the mesh pouch on the inside of the bag could be deeper to fit more accesories. Aside from those quibbles, it is perfectly serviceable.
