The Gefen EXT-HDMI1.3-242 is a 2x2 HDMI switcher designed to handle HDMI 1.3 sources. Two inputs are capable of accommodating simultaneous connections, including those video game consoles, media players and set-top boxes. The box is fully HDCP compliant and includes an IR controller for quick and easy remote access.

We purchased this 2x2 switcher to go with six other 2x1 splitters that we purchased about a year ago. The Gefen splitters worked great and the switcher was just the same. We purchased the unit to switch between the video output of a macbook and an Apple TV that was displayed on two 46" LCD monitors at a trade show.
The unit itself is built well and worked great.
The unit uses a remote control to handle switching. I felt the remote was a little cheap compared to the rest of the unit. This is why I knocked off a star on the overall rating.
Overall, this is a great solution. I recommend it!
