The MPro120 Pocket Projector is a modern day miracle of micro-miniaturization. Imagine a projector that's only 4.7" deep, 2.4" wide and less than an inch tall that can throw an image that's anywhere between 8" diagonally all the way up to 50" at projection distances of 6.75-42". And it weighs less than six ounces.
The MPro120 works and plays well with others too. It's compatible with just about all of your current electronic gear including iPods and iPhones, digital cameras and camcorders and, of course, PC and Macs. Imagine taking some snapshots or some footage of the kids and moments later projecting them at an image size of up to 50" diagonally. Virtually any surface that's reasonably flat becomes your screen. Screen a business presentation on a restaurant wall or play your favorite game on the inside of your tent while camping.
Charging the battery takes only three hours and then you're good for two to four hours, enough time to watch a movie. Of course you can use the included power cord and charge the battery while you watch your movie. It'll take just a bit longer to charge.
In addition to its rechargeable battery the MPro120 includes a mini tripod, an international power supply with four plug adapters for different countries and a soft carrying case for the projector. When you need to project on the go, the MPro120 is the way to go.

I thought... let me rephrase that: I've dreamt... that the new 3M MPRO120 MICRO PROFESSIONAL PROJECTOR, would be a wonder projector that can come close to a regular porjector... i'm still am dreaming...
i'm a proffesor, and does lots of traveling to lecture in different places, a lot of the places where i give lectures and seminars doesnt have a projector... it would've been nice to have this litle gadget to accompany me to show my powerpoints and presentation... but it looks like i'll be using it to catch up with my movie on my travels... :) i even try to how a movie clip in one of my presentation using it, but it only shows a black blank box, the movie wont show (i dont know if it is the computer setting or the projector compatibliy).
The great thing about it is small and great design - eye catching... until u turn it on...
i used it on a relatively dark room, and project it to about 30" but still my powerpoint didnt show too clearly, i try to change the design using white background and then black background on my slides, but still didnt help much.
The battery is great, it last almost 4 total hours (more then my laptop). The universal charger is great, i dont have to buy any plug adaptor or step ip/down (i live outside of the US).
i guess my expectation was beyond my reasoning (spec shows 12 lumens), but for that price and size... i guess i couldnt complain, and have to use it the best i could.

I purchased this product because I wanted an inexpensive projector to conduct training with small groups. The projector is very small and lightweight but the LED buld simply is not strong enough (at any distance) to see any image clearly even in a completely dark room. Photo's, small text fonts, web pages and video are very blurry. This was clearly designed to be used with a smart phone in a casual manner, evidenced by the short audio cable that's connected to the video cable- not long enough to reach across a laptop keyboard to plug in! I would not recommend this product for use with any machine larger than a mobile phone.

Works best in a very dark room with a max distance of 12 feet. It was very simple to use. Great for presentations when used in a smaller office. Tripod wasn't the best. I had more questions about the projector than my presentation.

For its size it delivers a quality picture. The room must be dark and the lighter the background the better.
Battery life is impressive.
For intimate, small presentations and/or practice for the "big show" this product is hard to beat for the price.

The projector was smaller than I anticipated and at the particular meeting I was presenting a slideshow - I had to make the room as dark as possible for the images to display. I think I just ordered the wrong projector, it does project the images on a small scale.

Would have been a great product. Unfortunately it worked with my Iphone 3G before I got the upgrade to OIS4. Neither Apple nor 3M could offer any support. Tried both this and MPro150. Yet another PC minded product. Unfortunate for all Mac and Iphone folks.

I use this just like I used to use a slide projector. In other words I bore everyone with my slide shows.HA,HA.
Really, I can show pictures, movies anything that I can see on my computer screen can be seen at a huge 50". It is very sharp and bright. Can be taken anywhere and is a lot of fun.

Comments about 3M MPro120 Pocket Projector:
Everything I hoped it would be. Serves as a useful presentation tool (especially coupled with the presentation kit) but also as a lively entertainment companion. I have carried the projector around while interfaced with a head-worn camera and done live projections on walls, bodies, ceilings etc. as part of an interactive multi-media experience. Too much fun, and already paid for itself in a professional application.

I am a Soldier currently deployed in Iraq. I bought the mini projector through the internet. Every night I get a chance to watch a movie in my room, I can watch it in the wall while I am still working on my computer. The projector works great, I can watch up to 100" size in the wall and the image still clear. Great buy!

My only complaint it that you have to buy a seperate adaptor to hook it to an ipod. It's a 40 $ adaptor that is not easy to find.

Comments about 3M MPro120 Pocket Projector:
I am very happy with the MPro 120. Based on the limitations in brightness (12 lumens) and resolution (640x480) of the MPro 120, my expectations were not too high. But I was pleasantly surprised at how good the image looked under the suggested lighting and viewing conditions. The best features of the MPro 120 is it's ultra-portability, the fact that there is a re-chargeable battery (you'll get around 2 hours on a charge), the fact that it will mount to a tripod, and it's ease of use. I recommend that if you enjoy basic viewing of online videos, dvds, videos that reside on your ipod/iphone, and even live tv through your laptop, the MPro 120 is easy to grab, connect and enjoy right away by projecting it on a wall or screen. If you are looking for a more serious HD projector, this is certainly not in that class. But in my opinion it is at the head of the class of portables that is great for what it is at this time.
