Comments about Kodak P310 WebCam:
The P310 plugged in and worked as advertised. The monitor and capture produced good pictures. The Control Panel application allows one to set the camera brightness, contrast, etc. to suit the room conditions, but falls back to the factory default values each time the control panel is opened.
The camera does not work well with Skype. Skype takes over the camera and the control panel registers "No device connected" Although I have a 1.5 MHz upload capacity, Skype sends only a series of semi still pictures delayed by 90 seconds. The sound works correctly.
