Use a Wireless-N USB Network Adapter from Actiontec to add Wireless-N connectivity to your laptop or desktop computer. Utilizing Wireless-N signals, it's possible to achieve a wireless bitrate of up to 300Mbps. It connects instantly to any available USB port, and is plug-and-play, requiring no complicated driver installation. High signal strength lets the adapter connect to the wireless network even in areas that generally have weak signals. The adapter is perfect for giving older laptops and desktops Wireless-N connectivity.

Power and Simplicity in One Small Package
The Wireless-N USB Network Adapter allows you to download files, share videos, and listen to music, at high network speeds. The adapter is also easy to set up. Its drivers are loaded in the integrated 4MB flash drive, so you can just plug it into a USB port and connect to a wireless network in seconds.
Fast Connection Speeds
Wireless-G wireless networking topped out at 54Mbps, while Wireless-N signals transmit data almost six times as fast. Wireless-N allows you to back up large hard drives in hours instead of days, and Voice over IP (VOIP) call quality becomes crystal clear. Since the Wireless-N adapter is backward compatible to older wireless networks, you'll never be left out in the wireless cold.
High Powered Signal
When paired with a Wireless-N router, you can connect wirelessly at ranges up to ten times that of a similarly equipped 802.11b wireless network configuration. Overcome dreaded "dead spots" that plague some buildings, with wireless service in places where other adapters simply don't have the capacity to reach.
Security Features
The Wireless-N adapter features wireless security, allowing you to conduct your wireless business with the strictest confidence. Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK) and Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) offer standard encryption. Additionally, the innovative and simple Push-Button Security option is available, allowing you to join a wireless network with the push of a button.

Comments about Actiontec Wireless-N USB Network Adapter:

Had some trouble setting it up, but that may or may not have been an on-board network card issue. Ipod touch sees network with WEP security, but won't connect, even after restarting both devices and putting in correct password. Other than those issues, works great. Love the interface and all the options available. Have another computer using a wireless USB adapter and the wireless works great on that.

I got this to tie my desktop into a WLAN. The router is a different brand name but had no problem reconizing this adapter. It was easy to setup in less than a minute and has been running flawlessly for weeks.

The Wireless-N USB Network adapter by Actiontec was just as described. It essentially plugged and played. It's been operating flawlessly with a wireless-N router from another manufacturer for almost a month. It helps connect a home network in a New York brownstone with thick walls. The adapter is also plugged into a 7-plug UBS hub, not directly into the computer, and still there are no problems with speed or reliability. [...]
