The Guitar Rig 4 Controller from Native Instruments is an enhanced foot-controller that sports 9 foot-switches, a multi-functional pedal, and level meters for monitoring input and output levels to/from the integrated audio interface.
The USB 2.0 audio interface uses the same converters as NI's AUDIO KONTROL and delivers 24-bit/192kHz high-quality audio, with the inputs optimized for guitar and bass pick-ups. The 2 inputs allow for the use of 2 guitars or basses simultaneously.
The continuous expression pedal and the 9 switches are easily assignable to any parameter, and afford complete real-time control of GUITAR RIG KONTROL software, which is NOT included.
- Sturdy foot controller with rugged, stylish black aluminum housing
- One metal pedal and 9 ultra solid switches (one under the pedal, e.g. to bypass a wah-wah effect)
- Each switch has a LED indicating its status
- USB 2.0 audio interface with 24-bit/192kHz resolution
- Two 1/4" TRS inputs with instrument pre-amps (regular line devices such as synthesizers can be used as well) with individual gain controls per channel and signal/peak LEDs
- Two balanced 1/4" TRS outputs with high/low switch (full scale and -14dB, e.g. for guitar amps) and signal LED meters
- Headphone 1/4" TRS output with individual level control
- Two 1/4" pedal inputs for additional expression and volume pedals or switch-boxes
- Bi-directional communication with the RIG KONTROL software (not included)
- 4 digit status LED displays current GUITAR RIG preset number
- MIDI I/O with activity LEDs
- The control data of the pedal can be recorded to a sequencer's automation track

the guitar rig controller allows you to change complete rig setups, and turn effects on and off without ever taking your hands off of your guitar.
expression pedal alone opens up the true power of guitar rig.
everything is drag and drop or programmed by the right click of the mouse.
5 passages in a song each with a different amplifier and effect setup? what was once impossible is here today! oh and it has a built in studio quality recording interface, outputs that can go to an amp, recorder, or PA system, did I mention this thing is built like a tank? it's a no brainer... BUY IT!
