The INTERNET550U Internet Office UPS System from Tripp Lite is a UPS system, designed to protect sensitive electronics from power surges while providing battery backup during power outages. It features 8 outlets to connect devices, 4 of which provide battery backup. The UPS also features phone suppression to protect voice and DSL connections.
The UPS's USB port connects to a Mac or Windows-based computer system, allowing you to utilize built-in power management and auto shutdown features found in your operating system. An audible alarm makes you aware of status information regarding line and battery power operation. The internal battery is able to power a typical entry-level PC for up to 17 minutes during a power outage.

- Supports Tripp Lite's Watchdog system service to restore operation to locked equipment through soft reboot of application/OS or hard power off/on reboot of connected equipment -- ideal for unattended kiosk applications
