Tripp Lite OMNI900LCD OmniSmart Digital UPS System
The OMNI900LCD OmniSmart Digital UPS System from Tripp Lite is a UPS system, designed to protect sensitive electronics from power surges while providing battery backup during power outages. It features 8 outlets to connect devices, 4 of which provide battery backup.
The UPS's USB port connects to a Mac or Windows-based computer system, allowing you to utilize built-in power management and auto shutdown features found in your operating system. An audible alarm and front-panel LCD make you aware of status information regarding line and battery power operation. The internal battery is able to power a typical entry-level PC for up to 50 minutes during a power outage.
- LCD Display with dimmer switch indicates input voltage, battery capacity, and a variety of operating conditions. Display is rotatable for easy viewing whether UPS is in vertical or horizontal position
- OMNI900LCD Digital Uninterruptible Power Supply offers voltage regulation, surge suppression and long lasting battery support during blackouts
- Supports entry level PCs up to 50 minutes or single VCR/DVR components for up to 2.5 hours during blackouts
- Regulates brownouts as low as 89 volts back to usable levels without using battery power
- Four UPS battery-supported and surge-protected outlets, plus 4 additional surge suppression-only outlets
- USB port enables unattended shutdown in the case of extended power failure 1
- HID-compliant USB interface enables integration with built-in power management and auto shutdown features of Windows and Mac OS X
- PowerAlert software available via free download from www.tripplite.com
- 900VA/475W power handling ability supports a variety of sensitive computer, home theater, and other equipment
- 3 minutes full load runtime (900VA/475W), 10 minutes half load runtime (450VA/237W)
- Cabinet adapts to tower format or rackmount shelf format. Rackmount (2U) format requires an optional shelf, available separately

I like that I can orientate it vertically or horizontally to meet my needs. Good power. Nice LED display. I cannot rate this fully because I attached it to a Raid device (Thecus) and it is not fully compatible with it so far. I may try a firmware upgrade to see if that helps. I would like it to gracefully shutdown in an extended power outage and the battery is drained.
I am sure it will keep my Raid running for 30-50 minutes otherwise.
