Sometimes I get a picture on my 2nd monitor with the HDLink. Sometimes I do not. To switch between Final Cut Pro and Resolve. I have to shut down my computer, unplug/replug the HDlink... and then maybe... just maybe... I'll get a picture.
It also gets very hot with stand or screws to elevate it or mount it to anything.
It would be nice if I didn't need a capture card to use Resolve, it would also be nice if the Decklink capture card I did need and have had a display port out.

Comments about Blackmagic Design HDLink Pro 3D DisplayPort:
Monitoring on a HDMI 1.4 3D HDTV unit works perfect in Side by Side, Top/Bottom and Line by Line modes. Though latest firmware states there is Frame Packing support I have not been able to achieve, nor have I read of anyone else doing it. Still a great value!

This product cannot take a signal from RED Cam directly. It must be run through a reclocking DA before the HDLink with RED 720p59.94. Otherwise it works fine.

Comments about Blackmagic Design HDLink Pro 3D DisplayPort:
Just an FYI to ANYONE buying this unit...the 3d portion doesn't work right now, nor do ANY display port or HDMI cables or adaptors available at any store. No one even makes displayport->HDMI 1.4 cables, so I have no idea how they say that it is compatible...
The firmware update is available that allows for supposed 3d features, but the displayport does not work, rendering it essentially useless.
There is very little information from the manufacturer on this, and help is very little if any. I would call to make sure you exact setup will work.
We are currently stuck with a few of these and no solution on the horizon...
