Comments about Panasonic DMW-MA2M Leica M Mount Adapter for Leica Lenses and Lumix G Micro System Cameras:

I comparing this Panasonic brand with Voig, Novoflex and also third party from HongKong. This Panasonic Lumix adapter is the best quality for its price tag. Less expensive than Novoflex. I normally put Zeiss ZM (Leica M-mount) to Olympus E-P3 along with this adapter at no problem. Very precise. I recommended for shooter who love Ziess lens on M4/3 format camera.

Comments about Panasonic DMW-MA2M Leica M Mount Adapter for Leica Lenses and Lumix G Micro System Cameras:

This well crafted adapter fits like a glove. Original parts cost more but are worth it compared to aftermarket copy cats. With my new prime Leica lens, the Panasonic GF1 comes alive. The combination of the lens, the camera body and this adapter make for a fantastic small fully manual camera. It allows one to get into synch with photography. I highly recommend it.

Comments about Panasonic DMW-MA2M Leica M Mount Adapter for Leica Lenses and Lumix G Micro System Cameras:

I have a Leica M-6 with several Carl Zeiss Lenses and of course, the Leica is a manual rangefinder film camera but now I have a viable alternative to using the lenses on a digital body. As you well know Leica and Panasonic have a strategic partnership in point-n-shoot cameras and instead of buying a $6,000 M9 Leica, you can now use your lenses in your micro 4/3 system. The only drawback is the 2x cropping factor wherein my 21mm lens becomes a 42mm telephoto lens but since I am using it for landscape photography, I welcome the multiplier.

This converter works very well. Has a solid feel and a sturdy button to push to mount and un-mount the Leica lenses. Have used it on a G2 with Leica Noctilux, 90 Summicron, Voigtlander 12mm and other Leica M lenses. All work excellently. I am very happy with not only the adapter, but the Leica lenses on the G2.
